As her wedding day finally arrives, a beaming Josie
confides to Vicky and Paulina how her heart is
overflowing with love and hope for the future.
Alexander bristles to find a half-dressed man in
Felicia's living room early in the morning. When her
indignant suitor demands an explanation, Felicia
laughingly reveals that as Gary's "best man" she
played host to the groom on the night before his
wedding. Grant and Cindy make plans to crash the
Watts/Sinclair nuptials. Lila hints to Donna that
she and Shane will be together again as soon as he
fulfills his obligation to Vicky and her children.
After accepting an invitation to the wedding,
Alexander presents a befuddled Felicia with a statue
of an African fertility god. Donna tells a grateful
Michael she's decided to act as a character witness
for Nick. When Michael wonders what he can do to
repay her kindness, Donna quickly suggests that he
lend some assistance in her race to become mayor of
Bay City. Later, as the wedding guests assemble on
Center Street, Grant grabs a huge dose of free
publicity by announcing that he's donating fifty
thousand dollars to the police department's fund for
widows and orphans. After Gary makes a dramatic
entrance on horseback, Josie arrives in even grander
style on the back of a police motorcycle. Grant
steals the fertility god and slips it into his
unwitting wife's handbag. With friends and family
looking on, Gary and Josie happily exchange wedding
      vows at last.
