Here we go, the Another World Update for Tuesday, July 18, 1995.

Lots happening in Bay City Today.

San Francisco: Jake/Bunny

Jake and girlfriend enter and kiss. Welcome home Bunny. Bunny
(Jake) still doesn't know who he really is. Although he has all
the trappings of an affluent life, it still does not feel like
home.

We discover that, along with a knock on the head, Jake also has
gained considerable knowledge of the stock market and has been
going about making "a killing." But all the money doesn't
matter, Jake is still unhappy. They talk about how Bunny could
not lose at the Baccarat table in Monte Carlo and how they met
and have been together ever since. The girlfriend still doesn't
know that Bunny has amnesia. They kiss again.

Jake and the girlfriend are in bed and have that "glow." The
girlfriend suggests that she and Bunny go to the track. Bunny
flashes back to him and some "blonde in a big hat" (so he can't
see the face) and him saying that he can't believe how people
look at him when he is with her. The girlfriend interrupts, and
Bunny says no, he doesn't want to go to the races. The
girlfriend wines about how Bunny doesn't tell him anything about
his life before, he is shutting her out. Bunny erupts and tells
her to back off as he is leaving their bed. He puts on a robe.

She also exits the bed. He apologizes. She apologizes. He
tells her that his past is off limits, and she said she could
handle that. She assures him that she can. Jake tells her that
he has some work to do and why doesn't she go have a nice bubble
bath. She leaves and Bunny again daydreams about the blonde.

"Who are you and why can't I get you out of my head." She
returns, and they discuss whether Bunny is seeing someone else.

Bunny says no, and then she asks if he was seeing someone else
before they met in Monte Carlo, and if so were they serious. He
says I can't remember anybody specifically except you. How's
that? She hopes it is the truth. He says it is. She comments
that she does not want to be a clingy woman. Bunny tells her
that he is not shutting her out or using her and tells her that
she can leave if she wants to. She says she will stay. Jake
hugs her and encourages her to just take it easy and let each day
come as it may. They kiss.

Hospital Corridor

Felicia at the hospital trying to find out about Lorna. She
meets with Cass. Sobs on shoulder, she can't find Lorna. Cass
calms her for a few minutes, then Felicia gets up saying that she
can't just sit around and wait, she wants to go find Lorna. Cass
tells her to stay, she will need her when she does get there.

Morgan is with her and to have faith. Felicia is afraid for
Lorna. Cass asks her if she remembers that she stayed with him
during the ordeal with Charlie and tells her that he will do the
same for her. He promises that Lorna will be fine.

Rachel at the Clinic

Rachel wakes up with the blonde in attendance (Greta). Greta
calls her the Contessa and Rachel replies that she is Rachel Cory
Hutchins, then tells Greta she is thirsty and asks for a glass of
water. The phone is beside the bed and Rachel reaches for it,
picks it up and dials the overseas operator. At the Cory
mansion, Carl answers the phone. He doesn't hear anything. The
other nurse has disconnected the phone at the jack and Rachel is
talking into a dead phone. Ryan enters the Living room. Ryan
asks who was on the phone and Carl tells him that they were
disconnected but that he had the strangest feeling. Ryan
encourages Carl to keep it together. They speculate about
Christophe. Ryan fills Carl in on Lorna/Morgan and NotRachel.

They wonder why NotRachel would care about Lorna.

Ryan is on the phone and Carl is going through some papers. He
asks Ryan to watch for Justine. Carl dreams about doing away
with Justine. He finds a paper that Justine has written on.

Ryan tells Carl that they have found Christophe, he is dead, an
apparent suicide. The police were glad they could identify him.

They speculate that Justine could have had time while in Paris to
kill Christophe. Carl is tired of doing things Ryan's way and
want to try his. They argue and Carl leaves, with Ryan close
behind.

We go back to Rachel. She is on the phone (still) trying to get
ahold of Carl. The nurse takes the phone away telling her that
she needs to rest. The phone call is of no concern to her. She
drugs her again. Rachel groggily sits up, shuts off her IV unit
and pulls it out. As she is sitting on the side of the bed,
Greta enters. She tells her that the IV fell out all by itself
and that she was coming to get someone to put it back in. Greta
puts her back in bed. Rachel asks Greta not to put the IV back
in because her arm is sore and asks for pills instead. Greta
agrees. Both agree not to tell nurse Braun. Greta returns with
pills for Rachel. She makes like she is taking them but spits
them out after Greta leaves. She hides them in the bedside
table. She asks herself why Carl hasn't come for her and then
tells herself that she will have to do it herself. She gets up
and starts to walk.

At the Agency (Frankie and Joe)

Joe is washing the window at the agency. Frankie enters.

Frankie is somewhat bummed about being ill during the pregnancy.

Joe has solved a runaway case and is having a wonderful day.

Frankie asks what got Joe in such a good mood. Joe replies that
he has a date with Paulina. He tells Frankie that Paulina is
finally over Jake and that that jerk is never going to get in the
way again. Joe is finally letting himself off the hook about
Jake McKinnon. Frankie agrees with him, it wasn't his fault he
was a louse. They further discuss Paulina. Joe tells Frankie
that everywhere in Bay City, he has memories of his life with
Paulina. Joe asks Frankie where he should take Paulina on the
date. Joe figures maybe the track. Frankie tells him that is a
bad idea, that was Jake and Paulina's favorite place. Joe only
wants Paulina to think about him. Frankie hopes that all will
work out for Joe and Paulina. Joe says that when he quit the
force and moved to Bay City, it was for a reason, and that now he
knows that it was for Paulina.

Lorna's Apartment

We are treated to a repeat of NotRachel feeding Lorna the
poisoned soup.

Morgan and Grant meet outside Lorna's. Ryan enters. They argue
about Lorna and getting her to the hospital. Morgan, tired of
listening to Grant spout, decides to go up through the stairs
instead of waiting for the elevator. Grant and Ryan are left.

Grant wants to know where Ryan gets off getting involved in "his
life" Ryan replies, No, it isn't, this is about Lorna's life, we
can only hope that Morgan is not too late. Grant races for the
stairs.

Rachel feeds Lorna the soup. Lorna has a couple of spoonfuls and
then says that she doesn't want anymore. Then she stands up and
collapses. Morgan bursts in the door, followed closely by Grant.

Morgan rushes to Lorna's side as Grant stands there, shocked and
concerned. NotRachel stands and smiles at Grant.

Morgan is on the phone at Lorna's ordering an ER room ready for
her and asking for Dr. Evans to be ready. Grant is blaming
himself and NotRachel assures him that it isn't his fault.

Morgan asks for details on what happened. NotRachel tells her
version. Lorna regains consciousness and Morgan reassures her
that she will be ok, he knows what is wrong with her, she has
been poisoned. "God", says Grant. Morgan tells Lorna to think
about strength and that they are going to take a fast drive to
the hospital. He carries her out. Grant wants to follow Morgan
to the hospital, but NotRachel stops him. She tells him that he
won't do any good at the hospital, considering his current
relationship with Morgan. It won't do any good. Grant tells
NotRachel that the night that I injured myself and the fire,
Lorna Devon did not leave my side. Grant then races out the
door. NotRachel says Good for Lorna and closes the door to the
apartment. She picks up the bowl (my guess is that she is
heading for the kitchen to destroy the evidence) and sees the
necklace that Grant had given Lorna sitting on the table. She
picks it up and smiles. (Footnote: the necklace is the last
thing that Grant had from his mother.)

Morgan enters the hospital with Lorna in his arms. We hear
Felicia scream Lorna! Cass drags her away. She is wheeled into
er and Morgan stops to fill in Felicia. "It's going to be ok,
we're going to do our best, she is very weak, but we know what we
are up against. Lorna has been poisoned. Felicia replies
Poisoned? Morgan replies, it is going to be ok, I'm not going to
lose her. And then leaves to take care of Lorna. Felicia says
she is dying and Cass comforts her. Ryan and Carl enter. Cass
tells them she is hanging in there. Carl asks if there is
anything they can do. Felicia tells them to thank NotRachel for
convincing Lorna to come back to the hospital. Cass, Carl and
Ryan take a few steps away from Felicia and Cass tells them that
Lorna has been poisoned. He then goes back to Felicia. Carl
says to Ryan, "Now do you see." and they exit because NotRachel
is coming down the hall.

Carl and Ryan have gone to Lorna's. Ryan is hoping to find some
evidence. They start to search.

At the hospital, Cass is trying to comfort Felicia. Grant bursts
in. He wants to talk to Felicia, Cass tells him to leave. Grant
says he was just trying to do what Lorna wanted. Felicia tells
Grant that Lorna has been desperate for months, she is so weak
that she can't move her head, she is dying and he is worried
about himself. If anything happens to Lorna, Felicia is going to
blame Grant. I'm never going to forgive you. She throws water
in his face and tells him to get out. During this small
interlude, NotRachel enters the hospital corridor. She goes to
Grant and wipes his face, then goes to Felicia. She tries to get
Felicia not to blame Grant. NotRachel tells Grant she will keep
him posted and he turns to leave, seeing Morgan watching the
scene on his way out. Felicia turns and sees Morgan. How is
Lorna? They are monitoring her and sending fluids through her
system. What is her prognosis? As soon as they know what drug
it is . . She is going to make it isn't she. Morgan says he
would give anything to make sure she would be ok. Felicia turns
and looks in the window of the ER with Cass, Morgan and NotRachel
looking on. FREEZE FRAME
