Seeing as I live in Canada and some of our American
friends missed today's show thanks to OJ/Bill I figured
I'd take a stab at an update. Hope I'm not stepping on any toes.
Feel free to fill in the blanks.

So what happened.

Carl was saved by God in the form of Sister Sally and a trio
of black male gospel singers. Carl woke up on the docks
to the sound of religous singing. Sister Sally mistoke Carl
for a sinner and set out to save him. Carl is still amnesic.
Carl agrees to be saved and goes off to preach the good work.
There was also some analogy made between Carl's state and Sol
from the New Testament (sorry but my biblical knowledge
really lacks). Annie (Ian's friend) sees Carl and she just
happens to be holding a newspaper clipping about Carl's
disappearance. She calls Rachel (at court) who shows up in time to
find out that Carl has gone off preaching. (This bit was really
hard to take but then I've had some bad experience with people trying
to save me.)

There was also an interesting scene with Jake, Paulina and a very
naughty ice cube. Need I say more. :-)

Iris was arraigned today. Dana asked for denial of bail. Paulina
got up and stuck up for Iris (I don't Jake was to impressed by
this) saying she thought someone else was behind it. The judge (female)
gave Iris $1million dollars bail. Marshall was in the court
watching his daughter. He sucked up to her and she agreed to
the concert and she asked him for his advice about corporate
law (ie the job with Cass).

RAchel tries to call a family meeting after court but Jake
takes Paulina away from mama Cory. There was a bit of
sucking up of Grant to Amanda about Lorna (I don't
think I need to elaborate here - like anyone is interested in this
storyline).

Ryan was home with Donna. Donna said Vicky tried to call
(actually it was five hangups). Ryan goes storming out. The
phone rings. It's Vicky. Of course Donna can't catch Ryan and Vicky
hangs up. Ryan is at the train trestle screaming Vicky's name
as the train passes overhead. He goes to leave and notices
a note in a plastic bag tied to one of the girder's. Guess
who it's from. So now Ryan's faith in Vicky is renewed.

Our mystery man is back. This time on a plane. The
plane is about to land in BayCity (or maybe it
was Chicago). He is reading the newspaper article about Carl's
disappearance and he is none to happy. Then we see him
rubbing two black dice in his hand (like worry stones).

And now the end of the show. Back at the townhouse with
Jake and Paulina (no ice cube though :-( Jake tells
her it is time to start a family. First you and I and then
kids. "What are saying", from Paulina. "Will you marry
me Paulina?" Freeze frame on Paulina who is just starting to smile.
