When her mother's priceless bracelet disappears in
the night, a fuming Amanda accuses Carl of stealing
the bauble to deprive Rachel of her last tangible
link to Mac. Trying to mediate the family feud, Joe
explains to Amanda that her mother has probably
become just the latest victim in a long string of
robberies attributed to the "Silver Rose" thief.
Unable to sleep, Felicia heads to the hospital and
confides to Rachel how she can't shake a feeling
that something terrible has happened to John.
Meanwhile, John and Sharlene bask in the afterglow
as they lie curled in one another's arms in front of
the roaring fire. Needing to unburden herself about
her strange evening in L.A. with Alexander, Felicia
admits to Rachel how captivated she is by the
tycoon's warmth and humor and his incredible flair
for the romantic gesture. When Rachel wonders if her
friend succumbed to Alexander's charms, Felicia
reveals that they indulged in one kiss and
sheepishly confesses that she was just a hair's
length away from going beyond the point of no
return. After battling his way through the storm,
Michael finally arrives at the cabin and peers
through the rain-streaked window, only to recoil in
horror at the sight of his lady friend and his
brother rolling around nude on the rug. Later, back
in Bay City, Donna listens with a mixture of
sympathy and glee as an infuriated Michael describes
seeing Sharlene making love to John. As she prepares
to sweep one man out of her life, Felicia gets
      unsettling news about another.
