ofia shops for a gift to show Nick how much she
appreciates his generosity towards Tomas. Meanwhile,
Nick admits to Michael how he's allowed Sofia to
believe he played Santa Claus for her impoverished
roommate. Felicia agrees to let Joe and Josie use
her place as a trap for the jewel thief who has been
plaguing Bay City in recent weeks. Sorely
disappointed when John makes plans to take Sharlene
and his son up to Greg's camp, Felicia decides to
fly out to Los Angeles to check on the progress of
her film. As Chris, Toni and her mom head to the
coffee house for a charity raffle, Etta Mae confides
to her disapproving daughter that she spent three
hundred dollars on tickets in hopes of winning first
prize. During their long stake out, Josie tells Joe
she always believed her mother was destined to be
with John. Sharlene explains to Michael why she and
John need to present a unified front for Greg's
sake. Nick mulls over the possible consequences to
his budding romance with Sofia if he reveals the
truth about the anonymous donation to Tomas' college
fund. Encountering Alexander on the set of her
movie, Felicia is taken aback when the Greek tycoon
greets her with a enthusiastic kiss. Donna falls
victim to the jewel thief. Acting on a hunch, Toni
purchases another ticket for her mother and is
thrilled when Etta Mae ends up winning the deed to
      the coffee house.
