Sorry this is abbreviated -- I forgot it was my updating day, and I
didn't
take notes.

Nick followed Rafael to see where he was getting his money, and
observed
Rafael taking some cash out of the stash that he gave Blair. Rafael
feels
someone watching him, but persuades himself that no one is there. Nick
takes the money, and writes an anonymous letter to Joe, saying that he
admires him and his restaurant and is therefore paying his back taxes.

Later, he gives the letter to Sofia and tells her to give it to Joe,
but
not to read it.

Joe gets angry at Sofia (big surprise) for selling Carlino's T-shirts
until she explains that it's good advertising, and that no one will
assume
they're broke if they do it. Besides, she says, everyone knows that
they
don't get a lot of business. Joe apologizes for being so hard on her
all
the time, and is grateful that Paulina and Dante aren't around to
witness
his latest problems. She asks him how he could have gambled in the
first
place with Carlino's. He really sorry now, anyway.

Cecile is getting fed up with life at the bookstore. Maggie complains
to
her and Rachel about Frankie. She asks Rachel if she can move back in,
but Rachel says she should try to work it out with Cass and Frankie.
She
tells Cass and Frankie that she knows how hard she is to live with, and
will move out for their benefit. They talk her out of it. Cass tells
her
that he can't lose her now. Even Frankie is mildly conciliatory. Cass
tells Frankie that he loves Maggie the same way he loves Charlie, and
she
is trying to accept that. Cecile offers her services to help with
Maggie
to Cass, but Cass says that it's her fault that Maggie is the way she
is
to begin with. Cecile starts calling rich European men. If she had
such
easy access to them, why didn't she do that in the first place, instead
of
borrowing from loan sharks?

A little girl give Morgan a memorial for Courtney.

Gable and Lorna have a sexy night on a boat. They talk about marriage,
but Lorna doesn't sound too excited about it. Later, he gives her a
present, by pulling up a fishing net that has an oyster in it. He
gives
her the oyster, which has earrings inside it. (I could be wrong about
this; he might have proposed. It was a dark shot, and I can't remember
if
it was a ring maybe, or if he asked her to marry him.)

John grudgingly agrees to work with Michael on the trauma center.
