Here are the goings-on in Bay City for Tuesday, June 20, 1995.

Police Academy

Buck is pressuring Gary to go out and have a drink. Gary refuses
saying that he won't teach the kids drunk. Buck (disgusted)
leaves. Then, returns almost immediately asking Gary what his
problem is and again pressures Gary into having a drink. Gary
agrees. A cadet [I missed his name and I don't have these people
straightened out yet] comes into the room and wants to talk to
Buck. They go into the hall where the cadet tells Buck that he
tells him that he agrees with Buck's attitude regarding the use
of guns on the job.

Josie enters to talk to Gary. She tells him that she did not
come over the other night to intrude on his personal life. She
and Gary discuss that Josie is not looking for special favors and
they agree to start all over again. They then discuss how she
should be herself and that is the best kind of cop she can be.

As he is talking - he is waving a card around. Josie plucks it
out of his hand - looks at it - and says - What is this? Gary
immediately gets defensive - tells Josie to be on time after the
break and leaves with Buck.

Another cadet ribs Josie about brown-nosing and that Gary has the
hots for her. Good-looking chick like her (Meanwhile, Charlene
enters). He further accuses her of using her feminine attributes
to get ahead in school. Josie denies it. He argues. Josie gets
him in a body-lock and pushes him against the wall and generally
teaches him that she is tough, along with having a pretty face.

She suggests that he not think like that about her.

After getting high 5's from the class, she turns and sees
Charlene and goes over for a chat. Charlene comments on how it
was a good thing Josie did what she did - Charlene was ready to
tune him in herself. They agree to go out for lunch - with Josie
commenting on how she must get back on time.

Josie and Charlene arrive back at the academy after lunch - late
- but not as late as Gary. She tells Charlene about Buck and his
talk that morning. Then she tells here Mom that this isn't the
first time Gary has not shown up for work. An Officer shows up
to tell the class that if Sinclair doesn't show up in five, class
is canceled. Josie tells Charlene that if he doesn't show - she
knows where he lives and will go and see if he is OK.

Gary's Apartment

We see Buck knocking back a shot of Scotch with a beer chaser.

They discuss their police history and Grace (Gary's dead
partner). Gary, in his mind, hears a gunshot. Buck hands Gary a
beer. He opens it and drinks. Buck offers him a Scotch, which
he also drinks. Gary then suggests that they go to Sassy's for a
drink and they leave the apartment.

Gary reenters his apartment with a bag of beer. Opens one -
drinks and we hear a knock on the door. He opens it and it is
Josie - She notes that he has been drinking.

Spencer Hospital Room and Corridor

Morgan enters and they discuss his transfer. Morgan is beeped
and must leave for a minute.

Amanda enters. She is thrilled that Spencer is talking again.

She questions if everyone knows and Spencer replies that he is
saving the news for family. Amanda agrees to keep quiet. Amanda
wants to talk and Spencer asks if it is about Rachel. Amanda
says, no, why? Spencer says she was here. Amanda is dismayed,
Rachel had promised to stay away and not get involved in her
divorce from Grant. They discuss Amanda and Grant's divorce and
Rachel's reactions. Spencer tells Amanda that he feels better
about the whole thing and is proud to have Amanda as a friend.

They discuss Rachel's odd behavior. Spencer tells Amanda to take
Allie and get away for the summer.

Morgan enters the room with a box. It turns out to be a box of
dead flowers. Amanda and Morgan are puzzled - who would do such
a thing. Spencer, obviously upset - says he is not leaving today
and says he must see Ryan. Morgan goes to call Ryan

Amanda stays with Spencer. Morgan returns, he has called and
Ryan should be there soon. Spencer says he is not leaving and
Amanda tells him not to let this stand in the way of his
recovery. Spencer again asks to see Ryan. Morgan and Amanda
agree that Spencer must rest and they leave the room. Spencer
tells Amanda to take care.

Morgan and Amanda discuss the flowers and Spencer's friendship to
them both. They start to discuss Grant and Lorna and Amanda
spills the beans that Lorna went with Grant to get the divorce.

They discuss Lorna and Grant and how Amanda thinks that they are
both better off without them. Amanda then asks Morgan out on a
date. They agree that they enjoy each other's company and also
to go out on a date. Morgan will call Amanda later.

Back in the hospital room, Spencer is looking at the flowers and
flashes back to a dream he had. Justine was in his room laying
out her plan to get her life back. He picks up a flower - says
"Justine" and crushes it.

Outside his room, Tomas and Charlene have a conversation about
his new job and how lucky Tomas is to have her and John in his
life and how well his life is going - he has everything. [This is
a little out of sync, read below to understand this conversation
(Cory pool).]

Outside Spencer's room, Ryan is questioning Tomas about the
flowers. They showed up on a desk while the nurse was on her
coffee break. Ryan goes in to see Spencer. They are both
worried. Ryan tells Spencer that Rachel is gone [see below].

Spencer tells him that he told Amanda to take Allie and leave.

They agree Justine is capable of hurting him or someone else.

Spencer tells Ryan about the dream [see above] and that she had
said that she would deal with him just like she dealt with
Rachel. Spencer asks, "What if it wasn't a dream?"

Cory Mansion, Part 1, Ryan and Vicky

Vicky tells Ryan that she and the kids are moving into the
mansion while Ryan is staying there. Ryan says, no way! They
discuss this topic. Vic thinks that Rachel will enjoy having the
kids around. Ryan suggests they talk to Rachel (thinking Rachel
will put Vic off), but Candy enters and tells them that Rachel
has packed a bag and left. Then Candy tells Vicky that her son
wants her and Vicky goes upstairs.

Ryan wants to know where NotRachel is and questions Candy. He
learns that she packed enough clothes for a couple of days and
that she was very upset (Candy speculates she is upset because
Carl left without her). They do not determine if NotRachel took
her passport. Candy leaves. Ryan calls Mandy and puts out an
APB on NotRachel. Vicky returns. She knows that something is
really wrong - but can't get the info from Ryan. They again
argue whether Vic and the boys will stay at Rachel's. Ryan says
you will not and Vic sees that he is serious - Dead serious says
Ryan. He is very worried. Vic finally agrees to go home - she
speculates whether maybe Carl's past is catching up to him. Ryan
starts to again tell her to leave it alone. She starts to leave
and then says, if it isn't safe for us here - then it is not safe
for you either. Be careful. They hug, he promises to be
careful. They exchange I love you's and Vicky leaves. Ryan
calls Carl and tells him NotRachel has flown the coop.

Cory Mansion, Part 2, Pool Area, Nick and Maggie and others

Nick and Maggie are kissing. Maggie breaks away and asks him
what he was doing. He replies that he was doing what he thought
Maggie wanted. Maggie gets out of the pool.

They argue. Nick thinks that Maggie has the hots for him, after
all, when they were riding on the bike, she had her arms wrapped
around him, she has been giving him signals and is wearing a
rather alluring bikini. Maggie doesn't agree and pushes him into
the pool.

Nick says it was just a joke. Maggie suggests he leave. They
phone rings - Nick leaves to get dressed - Maggie answers the
phone. It is Tomas. He got the job at the hospital which they
talk about for a minute. He questions Maggie, is something
bothering her? She sounds strange. Maggie says no, I just
needed to hear your voice {meanwhile, Nick is listening}, Nick
then leaves.

Maggie has finished talking to Tomas when Nick returns. His bike
won't start and need to borrow a hairpin. He gets one and
leaves. Candy has entered and points out to Maggie that Nick is
one good-looking guy, and that he must have appreciated the
bikini, then leaves.

Amanda enters. They talk about choices of clothing for woman
(aka bikini's) and if the said bikini is an invitation. Maggie
tells Amanda what happened in the pool and asks if it was some
kind of an invitation to wear the bikini. Shouldn't a girl be
able to wear a bikini without getting hassled? Amanda tells her
that bikinis' don't kiss, the question is do you like this guy?

They hear the bike start and then leave.

A short time later, Candy rushes out to the pool area. Security
has told her there has been an accident right outside - a
motorcycle. Maggie says, oh my god, Nick and rushes toward the
end of the property.

We see the bike laying on its side with Nick unconscious beside
it. FREEZE FRAME.

So, there you go. I hope I didn't miss anything important. Talk
to you again on July 4th. BTW, if anyone has any suggestions for
ways to improve my updates, feel free to email me.

I have a fearless prediciton for Michael's ailment: AIDS. What
do you think? Possible?
