Ian makes a move on Josie and she freaks out, saying, "I am not my mother,
I am not a whore." Ian wants to know what's going on. She explains about
Momma's second personality, Sharly the hooker and says she can't stand to
be close to him right then. He doesn't want to be pushed away, but he
leaves her alone for a while. She apologizes.

John pounds at the door of Kate's house, and when she finally lets him in,
he realizes he's dealing with Sharly. John kicks Sharly's john out.
Sharly talks about how boring Kate's life was, and about how great Tomas's
pecs are. John wants to hear about Sharlene. Sharly says she's gone for
good. John says Sharly can't possibly be that strong because Kate was born
after the explosion instead of Sharly taking over. He surmises that Kate
must have been born because the explosion made Sharly feel the one thing
she can't stand -- powerless. Kate was born to save Sharlene for Josie and
Gregory and that's why she loved Tomas and Luisa so much. He also tells
Sharly that Sharly is his window to Sharlene and that as long as Sharly is
around, he knows Sharlene still exists. John leaves and goes to tell Josie
about Sharly, but obviously she already knows. She goes to pay Sharly a
visit. Sharly is not any more pleased to see Josie than she was to see
John. Josie calls Sharly a tramp. Sharly tells Josie that she needs to
see a shrink, like Taylor Benson maybe. Josie breaks down, telling Sharly
how hard it is to be her daughter, and says she is leaving for good.
Sharly becomes upset. As Josie cries, Sharly/Sharlene/Kate puts her hand
on her shoulder and says, "Josie," in a kind voice. Josie cries, "Mama!"
They hug. S/S/K consoles Josie when Josie realizes, "It's Kate, isn't it?"
Of course, says Kate. Kate wants to talk to Josie and says she can't
remember the last few hours. Josie says she's better off that way and
leaves.

At the hospital . . . Amanda and Grant finally show and everybody notices
how upset Iris is. They also all wonder where Jake and Paulina are. Matt
goes to tell Rachel that Amanda is there, and comes back with a message
saying that Rachel wants Amanda to go home to represent the family and
Maggie's graduation. Amanda is hurt that Rachel wants her to leave without
even seeing her. Barry goes to see Iris at the hospital. He tells her to
make sure she uses the solution he gave her to get the powder off her
hands. Matt sees them and wants to know who Barry is. Iris says he's her
bodyguard. Matt leaves. Iris tells Barry she wants the gun and him out of
her life. He threatens her -- he had the gun and she has to do what he
wants.

At the Cory manse . . . Maggie invites Tomas to spend the night. Tomas
really, really, REALLY likes the idea. They start to get into it, but she
keeps pulling back. He asks if she is scared, and she finally admits that
she is a virgin. He is surprised but not that surprised. He thinks she
must have waited because she knew they were meant to be together. He is
willing to wait until she is ready (He is totally gorgeous!) She's ready,
and they're both prepared, if you know what I mean. She asks him to carry
her up the stairs, and he is more than happy to comply. Just as they get
going, Amanda knocks on the door. They scramble into the closet, but
Amanda finds them and blows her lid. She kicks Tomas out and in front of
Grant, proceeds to lecture her. Maggie points out that Amanda did the same
thing at the same age, only she got pregnant. She completely puts Amanda
on the defensive and says that Amanda is only happy when she gets exactly
what she wants, and then she leaves. Grant consoles Amanda, but she says
Maggie is right -- she should have been more understanding. Amanda cries,
"What is the matter with me, why am I alienating my whole family?"
