Hey Everyone,
Welcome Dorothy to the updaters. Dorothy thanks for a great update.

Begin forwarded message:

Hi all. This is Dorothy. I am filling in for Vicky. Here is Friday's =
update: sorry it is so late, but my husband surprised me and took me to =
the mountains on Friday before I had a chance to do the update. So here =
it is - hope it was worth the wait. ;) [Extraneous comments my =
opinion]

CHRIS' DESK @ THE HERALD: Gabe harasses Chris about a story he is =
writing about Blair/Jackie/Cobra. Until I get the truth, I am just =
gonna have to be "creative," Chris says. They argue.

JOSIE'S ROOM @ BCGH: Josie's snoozin when somebody comes creepin in
to =
her room. The person looks at the list o' suspects. Josie wakes up and =
appears startled.

CORY MANSION: Kirk and Stephen are fighting [boys will be boys ;) ] and =
Grandma Rachel is trying really hard to break those two up when "Grandpa =
Ponytail" [that is what Rafael called him on Monday's show - love it ;) =
] comes in and tells the boys to put their hands on their heads. He =
makes Kirk count to 50 and Stephen count to 500 (he whines) and sends =
them to separate corners of the mansion. Rachel thanks Carl, and =
doesn't understand why they won't listen, thinking that they are acting =
out because they miss Vicky. Carl makes a comment that she's not as =
effective cause she is too nice, but that he is a tyrant. [Hardly =
*chuckle* I'd love to have Carl as my grandpa ;) ] Carl hands Rachel =
the paper: he has placed an ad for a nanny for the boys. [I dunno, I =
think the Carl =
put-your-hands-on-your-head-and-count-in-separate-corners-of-the-manision=
is a very effective means of controlling those two - they don't need a =
nanny!!]

GRANT'S PLACE [AKA PENTHOUSE DU GLOOM]: Grant reads the ad Carl
has =
placed to Lucy [or do I dare say the next Mrs. Grant Harrison???]: =
Experienced nanny wanted for two boys ages 4 and 8. References =
required. Contact Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hutchins. [Now, if Carl is trying =
to keep the boys safe from Grant, why is he placing such an obvious ad =
in the paper? Is he asking for problems, or what? *shrug*] He asks =
Lucy how she feels about children. Guess he is gonna manipulate her =
into trying to get the nanny position.

JAKE'S OFFICE @ THE HERALD: Jake's phone rings. It's Vicky. [*cheers =
from the peanut gallery*] Jake breaks it to Vic that Grant is out of =
jail. She is none too pleased, considering everything he has done =
(killed Ryan, kidnapped her and the boys, etc.). Jake tells Vic he is =
afraid Grant is going to come after Kirkland. The boys are safe with =
Carl and Rachel, Jake says, but Grant is making a case against Vicky =
cause she is out of the country at the moment and that she has to come =
home. Vicky says she isn't coming home and asks Jake to bring the boys =
to Heathrow Airport. Jake tells Vic he misses her [*sniffle* *sob* Poor =
Jake!!!] but the line has gone dead.

CORY MANSION: Donna arrives. The boys tackle her. Carl sends the boys =
into the kitchen to eat blueberry pancakes. Donna complains that she =
should have been consulted about a nanny for the boys, that she wanted =
the boys with her in the first place. Rachel offers Donna the job. =
Carl feels the boys need a more structured schedule than shopping with =
Donna. Carl and Donna argue when the phone rings. It is Anna Josephson =
(Lucy). She tells Rachel she is interested in applying for the nanny =
position. Lucy hangs up the phone, and ex-Senator Slimeball smiles at =
her. Mr. Manipulative strikes again.

THE HERALD: Jake barges out of the office, and tells Chris he is =
"following up on a story' [I think it is called The Story of Jake's Life =
;)] and that he will be back tomorrow. Chris presses for more info, but =
Jake is outta there. Chris gives Gary a =
will-you-please-get-out-of-my-face-I-have-work-to-do look, and when that =
doesn't work asks Gabe if he really expects Chris to help him. Gabe =
expects him to "cooperate" with the police. Gabe wants information on =
who besides Josie Blair had dealings with. Chris says he thought Josie =
shot Blair, but from the way Gabe is talking it would seem he is fishing =
for other suspects. Gave says he can't comment. Chris tells Gabe not =
to let the door hit him in the behind on the way out. Gabe offers Chris =
a deal: tell me what you know and I will give you an exclusive. There's =
that magic word. Chris says they have a deal.

JOSIE'S ROOM @ BCGH: Josie looks up and sees Matt. She tells him she =
feels sore, but she is gonna be released and start physical therapy =
soon. Matt confesses he can't stop thinking about what has happened. =
Josie asks him if Blair was being pressured. Jake was pressuring her, =
Matt says. Josie asks if there was anyone else. When Matt asks why, =
Josie says she is trying to give Matt another perspective. [Josie's not =
very good fibber, is she?] Matt picks up the list. Josie says that is =
her list of people she is inviting to the wedding. Matt notices that =
Gary's name has a question mark next to it and asks her what is going =
on.

HALLWAY, BCHG: Morgan tells John that Josie is ready to be released. =
John has the proposal budget for the new trauma center. Morgan gushes =
that Mike is a good man and cares a lot about John and the hospital. =
John, still annoyed, says that Mike is rich and that he was planning to =
make a donation and that it is no big deal. Morgan notices that John =
seems bothered, but that his brother Cass is always there for him even =
though it isn't easy being brothers. John leaves and calls Felicia. He =
gets her machine.

CASA DE JOSIE Y GARY: Felicia comes over to see Gary. He's cleaning up
=
cause Josie is supposed to get out of the hospital. Felicia offers to =
help but manages to drop a glass. Gary makes he sit down and tell him =
what is bothering her cause it is really obvious she's upset. Felicia =
says she and John are in limbo. Gary tries to get her to talk about it, =
but she changes the subject and asks how he and Josie are. He doesn't =
want Josie to go back on the force, but they have agreed to disagree. =
He starts gushing about their wedding. Felicia warns him that marrying =
Josie won't change her or her mind about being a cop.

JOSIE'S ROOM @ BCGH: Josie says that the question mark is there cause =
l cooperation. John walks in, and Gabe announces that Josie won't be =
going home today. John and Morgan look at each other perplexed.

CORY MANSION: Rachel thanks Anna/Lucy for coming by. The doorbell =
rings. It's the next nanny candidate. They go into the library. Lucy =
sneaks back in and tries to overhear Jake and Donna. Jake asks for =
Donna's help. They argue, then Donna yells to Rachel that she is taking =
the boys for a ride. Jake, Donna, Steven, and Kirk leave. Lucy sneaks =
out of the house, opens her purse, and calls Grant on the cell phone to =
tell him that they are taking Kirk out of the country. Grant tells Lucy =
to meet him at the airport.

BAY CITY AIRPORT, INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL: Donna asks Jake 10,000
=
questions: where is Vicky, why is she asking Jake to take the boys to =
London, and what about Marley? He says he doesn't know, but when he and =
the boys get to London, he will call Donna. Donna says she wants to go, =
but Jake insists she stay in Bay City. Grant and Lucy arrive and watch =
them from behind a pillar.

JOSIE'S ROOM @ BCGH: Josie insists she needs a few more days and =
latitude to get around the hospital. John says he doesn't want her =
safety compromised. Gabe insists she will be safe. =20

HALLWAY, BGCH: Courtney asks Morgan what is happening to them. Morgan
=
says he is confused: he doesn't know when he is wearing his relationship =
hat and when he is wearing his professional hat. Courtney says they =
have to decide whether they are going to live together or whether they =
are going to work together. Morgan quips that he doesn't think the two =
have to be mutually exclusive and leaves.

ANOTHER HALLWAY, BCGH: Felicia runs into Lorna and asks her if John
said =
anything after she left the christening. Lorna says no. Felicia asks =
about Gabe, and Lorna says he needs his space. Felicia tells Lorna she =
has a theory that she when she has relationships with people, they are =
to teach her a lesson. So what am I supposed to learn, Mother, Lorna =
asks, that I have to learn to leave Gabe alone?

JOSIE'S ROOM @ BCGH: Gabe orders 24 hour surveillance on Josie. Josie =
asks John not to tell Sharlene what is going on. She is going to tell =
Sharlene and Gary that she John wants her to stay in the hospital until =
she gets the hang of physical therapy. Josie asks John how he feels =
about Sharlene going back to Oklahoma. He replies it isn't any of his =
business anymore. Josie is worried about Greg, but John tells her to =
concentrate on herself. Gabe and Josie review what happened the night =
she was shot. Josie and Blair struggled and Blair knocked the gun out =
of Josie's hand to her right. They struggled some more and Blair shot =
Josie. She remembered Blair saying something like What the hell are you =
doing here? to someone, and Josie thinks that someone was the same =
person who came into her room. She says it is just a feeling. Gary =
comes into the room and asks Gabe how many times is he gonna make Josie =
rehash what happened that night. He turns to Josie and asks why she =
isn't dressed. Gabe leaves.

HALLWAY, BCGH: Gabe thanks John for his cooperation.

ANOTHER HALLWAY, BCGH: Lorna tells Felicia that they should forget their =
troubles and find the most fattening lunch in Bay City. They turn the =
corner and see Gabe and John. They avoid their men and turn to leave. =
Gabe takes off and John watches Felicia get into the elevator.

JOSIE'S ROOM @ BCGH: Josie tells Gary her story: that Morgan and John =
want her to stay and get the hang of physical therapy. He says that's =
OK, it will give him more time to work on his surprise for her [cleaning =
the house, I guess]. A nurse comes in to take Josie to rehab. Gary =
takes her out of bed and puts her in the chair. The nurse wheels out of =
her room. In the hall, Josie asks if Gary has heard anything about his =
reinstatement. He says he doesn't know anything yet. He tells her to =
take it easy in therapy and he will see her later. The nurse takes her =
to therapy with someone following.

BAY CITY AIRPORT, INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: The boys go to get on the
plane =
with Jake after getting about 5 hugs each from Donna. Lucy insists that =
Grant stop them from taking his son, but Grant says he can't do anything =
without going back to court cause Vicky still has custody of Kirk. =20

INTERIOR AIRPLANE: The boys are giving Jake a hard time because he =
promised them two window seats. Stephen keeps taking the lap tray =
down. A few rows back, Grant is slinking down in a seat by himself. =
[Guess he whipped out that platinum Master Card. I have just one =
problem with this: does Grant carry around his passport in his back =
pocket along with his platninum Master Card? Come to think of it, do =
Jake and the boys have passports? You need them to travel to London!!]

HALLWAY, BCGH: Morgan says he can't talk to Courtney. She says now he =
is avoiding her. She announces she wants to move out.

GABE'S OFFICE @ THE POLICE STATION: Gabe is sittin at his desk doing =
paperwork. He knocks a file off his desk. He picks it up and finds =
Lorna standing over him. He is eye level with her waist. [Nice view, =
Gabe??? *wink* *wink* *nudge* *nudge*]

HALLWAY, BCGH: Josie tells the nurse she forgot her robe. The nurse =
goes back to get it from the physical therapy room. Someone comes up =
behind Josie and tries to push her down the stairs.
