Greetings and salutations......

THE HARBOR CLUB

Cass and Frankie are having lunch, preparing to go to John and Sharlene's
wedding. Frankie seems moody and withdrawn, so Cass asks her what she's
thinking about. "Another baby," she replies...

THE FARM

Sharlene is still upset over her ruined wedding dress. Josie does her best
to try and comfort her...

Clara is telling John that she simply cannot lend Sharlene her mother's
wedding dress. John is insistent, and finally drags out of Clara the
admission that there is a story behind her mother's wedding that she never
told, and it involves the wedding dress.

THE FARM

Ryan and Vicky arrive, and Vicky confronts Michael over the fact of Nick's
presence at the wedding. Michael reminds her "This is a Hudson wedding."
"Thanks to DNA testing" she retorts. Michael demands that Vicky apologize
to Nick.

THE FARM

Michael remonstrates with Vicky. Ryan intervenes and tries to calm things
down. Ryan finally gets Vicky off to one side and gives her a little lecture
about how you can't choose your parents. He finally persuades Victoria to
apologize to Michael, but as soon as she does they promptly get into another
fight. Matt and Donna arrive, and try to make peace. Matt introduces himself
to Nick as Donna's fiancee. Meanwhile, upstairs Sharlene is starting to calm
down about the dress, and trying to take it in stride. Josie reminds her that
Gregory was only doing something he thought would please his mother when he
scribbled on her dress with indelible magic markers. Sharlene finds a 60's
type dress and peace earrings, and jokes about how now she's got her look,
too bad it's 20 or so years too late...

THE HARBOR CLUB

Frankie tells Cass that she's ready to try again for another baby. Cass tells
her it would be a major lifestyle change for them, and they
should first think about it some more. Frankie gets up to go to the ladies'
room, and when he is alone with his thoughts Cass looks distinctly uneasy....

CORY/HUTCHINS MANSION

Marshall and Amanda are apprehensively waiting for Felicia to arrive, so
Marshall can tell her about his promotion, which means that he won't be her
editor anymore. Amanda reassures Marshall that Felicia will understand, and
will be able to work with a new editor.

THE FARM

Clara finally shows John her mother's wedding dress, and sheepishly explains
how her mother was seven months gone with her already when she walked down
the aisle. John pretends to be utterly shocked at such a scandal in the
family, and after they have a good laugh over it John goes off in search of
Sharlene, to tell her she has a wedding dress to get married in...

THE FARM/OUTDOORS

Luisa comes running up, and everyone exclaims over how adorable she is.
Tomas comes in after her, makes chit-chat with everyone, and leaves.
Ryan and Michael start to talk about Vicky. Ryan tries to reassure Michael
that reconciling with Victoria with take time. Michael says something about
how sometimes you don't have a lot of time. Meanwhile, Donna and Vicky are
off somewhere having another fight. Donna is truly furious with her, and says
"You act like a grown-up or you go home right now, I mean it." Vicky is
somewhat chastened, finally. Donna stalks off only to run into Matt, who
asks her why she didn't tell him she had already met Nick that morning, when
she brought Kirk to visit with Michael.

THE FARM

Donna explains to Matt the circumstances of her visit to Michael. He is
obviously unhappy about her paying Michael a social call, but lets it go...
Meanwhile, out of doors, Morgan arrives and John introduces him to Michael.
They make small talk, and Mike observes how it may come in handy having an
obstetrician in the family. Cass and Frankie arrive, and Frankie goes
upstairs to see Sharlene. Vicky wanders off somewhere. Cass asks Morgan
if he's managed to win back Lorna yet. Elsewheres, Ryan and Vicky talk
some more about Michael. Vicky recalls the blow-up with her mother and starts
second-guessing herself, wondering if she's being a brat after all. Ryan
reassures her that she has a right to her feelings. Finally, everybody
assembles downstairs for the wedding. Gregory and Luisa come downstairs
first, followed by Frankie and Josie as the bridesmaids. Finally, Sharlene
descends the staircase...

THE FARM

[I'm sorry I don't have the word-for-word vows...I could only record bits
and snatches as fast as I could write them down, cuz I couldn't use my
VCR today!]
The female minister begins the ceremony. John and Sharlene have written
their own vows. John says to Sharlene "You saved my life, you brought me
back from the edge...you gave me hope. If you truly believe, even impossible
things are possible...I love you." Sharlene says to John "You are my rock,
my strength, my best friend...I feel so lucky to know that I can share my
life with you...you are a man of enormous heart and gentle spirit. I trust
you with my life, and today I commit my life to you." John adds that "It's
all about family, it's all about love." They exchange rings with the words
"With this ring, I marry you, and join my life with yours." The minister
finishes with the words "You may kiss the bride"......

CORY/HUTCHINS MANSION

Felicia arrives, and gets upset when she learns that Marshall won't be the
editor for the next two books that she has left on her contract. She can't
work with the new editor, she claims...she wants Marshall. She finally
calms down after Marshall apologizes for not having told her sooner about
his promotion.

THE FARM/OUTSIDE

The whole gang is having a hoe-down to bluegrass music. After the dance
finishes, Josie seeks out her mother to tell her that she makes a beautiful
bride. Nick is off by himself inside the house, watching the festivities
out the window. Meanwhile, Michael asks Donna to dance, and looks greatly
disappointed when she declines, having already promised the dance to Matt.
Clara comes across Nick sitting by himself, and exchanges a few kind words
with him. She leaves, and Michael comes in to find Nick sitting and drinking
beer. He starts chewing Nick out, saying "You're 19!" Nick scornfully replies
"I'm 19, and you're 19 years too late!"

THE FARM/OUTSIDE

Ryan tries to get a conversation going with Nick. Ryan tells Nick that he
(meaning Ryan) is probably the only person who can really understand Nick's
situation, because Ryan lost his mother and didn't discover his real father
until last year. Ryan then tells Nick that the Hudsons are great people, and
to give them a chance. Meanwhile, inside the house Michael approaches Vicky.
They actually manage a halfway civil conversation. Then Vicky says,
pleadingly, "Tell me where you were when I needed you." Michael says he can't
tell her right now, it's not the time or the place. Vicky gets angry all over
again -- "When is it ever the right time?!" She runs out.

THE FARM

Tomas herds Gregory and Luisa up to bed, with Clara following to tuck them in.
Michael comes in, and encounters Nick by the stairs. Nicks asks Michael why
he allowed Vicky to think that Michael had spent the last year getting to
know him, when they only just met. "You have a lot of secrets, don't you?"
Nick asks Michael accusingly.

Meanwhile, outside John and Sharlene are watching the stars. They remember
the star John had named for Sharlene, and wonder if they can see it now.
John suggests she wish on it. Sharlene says that's funny -- her wish already
came true..............FREEZE FRAME
