Josie tries to convince Gabe to cut Gary some slack. No way, yells
Gabe.

He drove under the influence and assaulted a fellow officer. Immediate
suspension, and Internal Affairs will probably want him fired. Josie
tells Gabe that Gary can't remember how he started drinking and says
that
there must be another explanation, because he was happy and they were
about to make wedding plans. Gabe isn't buying it, especially after
that
officer Clark, who has it in for Gary, tells Gabe that Gary took Gabe's
bottle of alcohol, and Jake tells Gabe that Gary hit Joe, who has
forgiven
Gary. Josie is desperately trying to find Felicia because she is
Gary's
sponsor. Felicia can't be found because she is in bed with John. When
she finally gets the messages, she heads for the station. She tells
Gary
that everybody has setbacks and he can't be worried about his job.
That's
comforting. She asks Josie what happened. They compare notes: Felicia
saw Gary, sober, just twenty minutes before Josie found him passed out.

Josie asks Gary what the last things he remembers are. He says that he
saw Felicia at the farm, heard a noise in the barn, went inside and
smelled something. Josie has a brainstorm: it must have been Blair.

Blair, meanwhile, is desperately searching the barn for the glove she
realizes that she left behind. Josie heads over there. Blair hides.

Riley the dog finds the glove and gives it to Josie and Blair watches.

Gabe tells Gary that the DWI charge has been dropped and lets him out
of
jail, but demands his badge. Gabe thinks that he wants Gary to resign.

Gary takes off after Josie. Gabe will not take Lorna's calls. Lorna
cries on Jake's shoulder. Lorna goes to the station to see Gabe, but he
says that he feels nothing for her. Clark tells Jake that when he
picked
Gary up, he was saying terrible things about Blair.

Sharlene takes Gregory to the farm for a quick visit with John on
Greg's
seventh birthday. John asks to see Greg for a longer time that
afternoon. Sharlene hesitates, but agrees to bring him back. John has
way too many toys waiting for him. Felicia shows up with rollerblades
and
proceeds to make friends with Greg. Greg wants to know if Felicia and
John will be getting married. Not just yet, he's told. Greg is
remarkable unbothered by Felicia.
