i everyone!! Here's what went down in Bay City today:

NICK/SOPHIA:

With Joe investigating a murder, Nick goes over to Frankie's to visit
Sophia, who is babysitting. Nick

has a plan to double date: Sophia would be Tomas' date, and Nick would
pair up with Maggie, and then

hopefully Maggie and Tomas would scram mid-evening. This plan's
objective is to convince Joe that Nick

is now interested in Maggie. Sophia voices her dislike for sneaking
around Joe's back and lying to

him. Nick admits that hanging out with Maggie for an evening is not
exactly his idea of a good time

(Maggie overhears this!), but he is willing to do it if it means he
gets to see Sophia. Sophia agrees

to be a part of the plan, and Nick leaves. Maggie comes in and is
briefed about the details of the

night's plan.

AT THE HOSPITAL:

Michael talks to Sharlene about her and Greg coming to the farm for a
welcome home party for John.

Sharlene is obviously stressed about confronting John about the divorce
proceedings, but feels that it

is inevitable that she tell him. Despite Michael's suggestions,
Sharlene assures his that a

reconcilliation is out of the question. Sharlene doesn't think that
John will care that she has

started divorce proceedings. Meanwhile, Felicia visits John in his
hospital room, and tries to

convince him that he should come home with her, that she can take care
of him - John is not exactly

embracing the idea. She continues trying to convince John when Michael
bursts, grabs John by the

shoulders, tells him he's 'sprung" and says, "Let's get you back to the
farm". Michael tells John

about the party, and how "everyone is invited"...everyone BUT
Felicia...Michael does his best to not

even acknowledge Felicia's presence in the room. Michael and Felicia
leave as Josie comes in.

Josie tells John that Sharlene was strong for Greg when he was in the
coma. She tells John that she

still loves him, despite what he and Sharlene are going through. He
tells her that it is only natural

that she feels hurt by their separation. Josie tells him that her and
Gary are getting married, and

asks if he would give her away. He feels honoured. He asks how their
plans are coming along, and she

admits that they were going to start the planning today, but Gary had
some errands to take care of.

John tells Josie that he would still like to be a father figure to her.
She confides that her and Gary

are having some troubles. John tells her to accept Gary's faults, and
not worry about things that

might not even happen (maybe like Gary leaving Josie for Blair) - she
has to go with what her instincts

tell her to do.

Outside the room, Felicia calmly approaches Michael to talk about
John's release, but he adminantly

says that everything has already been settled. When Sharlene comes by,
Michael drops his conversation

with Felicia, turns his back to her, and talks to Sharlene about the
possibility of her and Greg

staying overnight at the farm. Felicia interrupts and says that she
doesn't agree with the plans that

are being made, and she tries to make a case for John being better off
staying at her place. Michael

accuses her of putting her needs above John's. Felicia reminds both of
them that she isn't going

away, and accuses Michael of trying to control the situation and John's
life. Sharlene asks Michael to

leave them alone.

Sharlene acknowledges that John needs Felicia now, and reassures her
that there isn't a conspiracy to

exclude her (could have fooled me!!!). She also thinks that since John
didn't mention anything about

going to Felicia's, he probably isn't keen on the idea (esp. b/c he
hates to be doted on). When

Felicia tries to rebut, Sharlene reminds her that she does still know
John. Sharlene also talks about

how uncomfortable family members would be going over to Felicia's to
see John - she sites Josie, and

then states that she wouldn't bring Greg over to see John there.
Felicia admits that Sharlene is

right, and Sharlene promises to talk to Michael about how he treats
Felicia.

(I think this scene was supposed to make the viewers aware that both
Sharlene and Felicia are strong,

independent women. Although Felicia was al ittle too doty for me when
it come to tending for John, she

did finally stand up for herself, letting Michael and Sharlene know
that she wasn't going to stand for

their crap any more. Sharlene was very graceful to Felicia, which
showed an underlying sense of

confidence and esteem - something we haven't seen a lot of coming from
Sharlene.)

AT FELICIA'S APPT:

Arriving back at her appt, Felicia finds Lorna in tears. She tells
Felicia that she saw Gabe in the

arms of another woman, and asks how she could have let herself fall in
love with him. She tells

Felicia about the message she heard on Gabe's answering machine, and
that Gabe has since left many

messages wondering where she is. She asks Felicia what she should do.
Felicia wants her to get the

whole story - Lorna doesn't know that she can trust him again. Felicia
urges her to chat with Gabe.

Suddenly, the phone rings - it's Gabe. He tells Felicia that he has
been calling all over for Lorna,

but no one knows where she is, and he's terribly worried about her.
Despite Lorna's wishes, Felicia

tells Gabe that Lorna is with her, but can't come to the phone b/c she
is in the shower. he asks her

to pass on a message: he would like to meet Lorna at 10pm outside the
presinct - he has a special

surprise for her. Felicia agrees to pass on the message and urges
Lorna to get to the truth so that

she won't have regrets later.

AT THE FARM:

John tells Tomas that he will always be considered a part of the
family. Sharlene comes over, and asks

Michael to give John what he wants, which is Felicia - keeping her away
is only going to make ther tie

stronger. She asks to speak to John alone, and finally tells him that
she has approached Cass to start

divorce preceedings.

ENDING:

The show ends with Gary spying on Blair, but he loses sight of her.
She sneaks up behind him and tells

him that she knows he has been following her. We also see Josie at
work asking some officers if they

know where Gary went.

That's it! Happy Easter, everyone!!

Tracey
