I'm afraid you'll find my comments a little negative because to tell
you the truth aside from a few good moments, this is not the type
of episode that will attract new viewers.

My comments are in ( ).

Sorry, just my personal opinion. When the episode is Great, I say so,
but same goes for the mediocre ones. Others might disagree with me on
this one, and that's ok too!

Morgan and the rape victim:
He is very mad because one of his patients has been transferred to the
care of Dr. Fax. He faces off with Fax and Fax says he had nothing to
do with it. Rita M. levelled the workload. He later goes to see John
(who is out of coma and walking and talking like nothing ever
happened- see below) and asks him to put him back on the case. When
John realize that this Kelley is a rape victim (jogging in the park
when she was raped), he associates it with Andrew beating Courtney
(John is not aware that Andy raped Courtney) and sees this as Morgan
trying to get even by getting Kelly to trust him and get info on the
rapist to put him behind bars. John says this is a case for the cops
not MDs. Morgan storms out. Later, Morgan asks Rita for the
case back because he built a rapport with Kelley and he can help her
go through her ordeal and blah, blah, blah, Rita doesn't even blink
and says OK! Morgan is stunned! She says that's the kind of commitment
she wants to see out of the MDs.

Later Morgan goes to see Kelley and says there was a mix up and he is
her doctor once again if she wants him to be and she says she trusts
him and does want him. He says he'll always be there for her
(Serious traces of the story of crazed woman Cass was defending who
ended up in love with him.)

Courtney and the rape victim:
She tells Kelley she knows how Kelley feels. Kelley says she can't
unless she's been there and Courtney says she has! She talks about her
fears and admits that now that Andy is dead, she is still afraid but
he's no longer a threat. She tries to get Kelley to open up, but
Kelley can't remember anything and finally admits that she probably
doesn't want to remember for fear that the guy will come after her
again. Courntey suggests councelling and Kelley says she has no $.
Courtney suggests women's support groups and religious groups
(I think this was an attempt at directing women who may be watching
to alternate treatment if no $$, but it was pretty weak to tell you
the truth.) Later Courtney sees some exchanges with Morgan and Kelley
and seems worried about Morgan and this whole rape thing.

John/Sharlene/Fax/Michael
Fax is trying to check out John, but John is a terrible patient and
wants out right away and knows all the symptoms so he knows
he's fine, blah, blah, blah! Finally, Fax says something about
Sharlene and John calls her his wife and Fax corrects him and says
"ex-wife". John is surprised and say they aren't divorced, only
separated. Fax replies, but you are getting a divorce? John asks him
what business it is of Fax's. Fax says he and Sharlene started at the
same time and got really close, mostly during John's illness.
Sharlene walks in - Fax walks out and compliments her on her new
dress. John is very disturbed by all this and asks Sharlene what is
going on with MD Fax? Sharlene says it's too soon for her (implying
unlike for John) to get involved with anyone. She came in to serve
him with the preliminary divorce papers drawn up by Cass and we see
them in her hand but she decides against the idea and instead tells
John she was offered a full-time job by Rita and wants to make sure
he is ok with it. After some going back and forth about him having
nothing to say about what she does, and she thinking that he could at
least show some concern about seeing her on an on-going basis (this
goes no where fast). Finally she leaves and he is very uncomfortable

but not sure why.

Later, Sharlene bumps into Mike talking to Rita M. He wants an
appointment to discuss giving back to the hospital after being saved
from his cancer and now John. He wants to do something - give
something back. Rita says she would be delighted but has a meeting,
for him to make an appointment with Sharlene. He & Sharlene speak and
he asks if she told John about the divorce yet? She says no! He asks
(rightfully so), whether she didn't tell him because she is afraid
he'll cause her problems or because she is afraid he won't?

Later, Michael goes to see John and sees a rose with a note from
Felicia and pooh-pooh's it. John just lets it slide and asks Mike if
he knows whether Sharlene is doing as well as she seems to be.
Mike says "heck yes", and raves about Sharlene being amazing
throughout all this. John talks about his thoughts on Dr. Fax and
Mike agrees that he is interested and asks John how that makes
him feel. John says he's got no right to feel either way about it.
But he can't help but see a side to Sharlene that was never there
before, capable and independant.

Quick reminder - Michael found Donna asleep in a chair on the porch
with hay all over her like she was in the barn but she doesn't
remember even going outside. It's because of the pill he gave her.
(That story made no sense and didn't go anywhere! Maybe she is suppose
to have done something while under the influence which will come back
to haunt her later? Don't know - very strange.)

NOW TO THE GOOD STUFF:

Gary/Josie/Cobra/Matt

Matt pounds on Josie/Gary's door and gets Gary by the throat
and warns him against trying to hurt Blair. G & J have no idea
what Matt is raving about. Matt explains about the snake and
the note in Gary's handwriting. Josie swears that Gary was with
her most of the day and all of the night. Matt won't believe it's
not Gary.

Gary warns Matt against Cobra and gives him her Cobra
ring to give back to Blair. He tells Matt how she played
the same story with Gary, "Oh, you changed my life
around, you're the only one for me, you're the only
man who made me feel this way .... sound familiar

Matt". Matt is pretty quiet and storms out.

Gary swears to Josie he didn't do it and she believes
him. But he also thinks that Blair did it to herself. Sent
the snake knowing Matt would be there and implicated
Gary with his handwriting. Josie wants to help Gary
get Cobra, but he won't hear of it, he'll handle it.

Matt is afraid he's seen the last of Blair since she took off
after finding the snake the night before and hasn't called

or came to work. He goes back to the office later and asks
for all stories printed relating to importing dangerous reptiles
in to the country.

Back at the paper, Cobra calls Rachel and asks her out for lunch.
(Although Rachel paid the bill - nice guest don't you think!)
Carl overhears this and is worried. They plan to meet at Carlino's at
12:30 Rachel tells him. Carl tells her is doesn't like Blair, she
moves too fast! Rachel wants to give her a chance since Matt
likes her so. When Rachel leaves the room, Carl calls Raphael

in to clean up and go to lunch at Carlino's. He sits by himself
at the bar listening to the conversation for Carl.

Blair tells Rachel that she likes Matt very much and that Rachel
might hear bad things about her. Rachel asks if Matt knows this
and Blair says he knows everything. Rachel is ok with that.
In walks Donna and asks to sit with Rachel and Blair and

Rachel refuses - "hurt my family - that's a good way for me to
dislike anyone" she tells Blair. Blair was just abut to talk to her
about Carl and refrains. She just said,"it's nice to get a fresh
start - just like your husband", and Rachel asked who had been telling
stories about Carl and became defensive so Blair stopped right
there - but Raphael heard it all.

Whent he ladies leave the restaurant, Blair is alone and accosted
by Carl who warns her and she warns about telling Rachel that
Carl is the one who corrupted Blair to begin with and taught
her all she knows about being crooked and that they were
lovers. Carl warns her again, he didn't teach her all he knows
he warns. She tells Carl it's too late, she and Matt are lovers
now and he is better than Gary (hard to believe) and better
than Carl (possible). Carl is not thrilled and the show closes with
him saying there are many ways to skin a cat, but only one way
to skin a snake (or something along those lines).
