Feelings run high in Bay City:

Matt is not mad because Blair was a crooked cop, but
because she LIED about it. Josie is not mad because
Gary slept with Blair, but because he LIED about it.

Joe is not mad because Paulina borrowed money from
Rachel, but because she LIED about it. A THEME SHOW!

Carlinos: Rachel and Maggie arrive for supper at
Carlino's. Rachel asks if business is always this bad.

Sofia says it is. Joe is dealing with a creditor when
he finds out that Paulina paid off the debt. Joe is
really ticked at first, but he gets over it.

Maggie sees Nick trying to get Sofia's attention
outside the window. Nick is surprised when Rafael
sneaks up on him. Nick is worried that Sofia is
wondering why he didn't show up at the lake house.

Rafael offers to talk to Sofia for Nick.

Maggie is not is not pleased to see Rafael.

Rafael tells Sofia that Nick is waiting. They meet in
the storage room. He explains about dinner at the
Cory's, Maggie's being a pain. She understands, but
she hates sneaking around. He tries to exlpain about
the pin, but she says it's all okay.

Rachel tells Joe that the money was just a loan,
and since he's family now he shouldn't be upset with
Paulina. He's more upset that she lied to him, Joe
says.

Maggie asks where Sofia is (she knows). Joe goes
to find her.

Upstairs, Sofia and Nick are rolling in the flour.

When they hear Joe coming, Nick hides in the closet.

When Joe & Sofia leave, Nick goes down and talks to
Maggie & Rafael. A double date scam might work.

Rafael would be Sofia's date, and Maggie & Nick would
be the other couple. Nick scoffs, thinking Joe
wouldn't approve of Rafael either.
Joe tells Sofia that someday she'll thank him for
keeping her away from Nick. Sofia is not buying that.

Michael's: Sharlene arrives and tells Michael that John
has regained consciousness. She says now she can get
on with her life. She wants a divorce. Michael thinks
it is a little early for that. Sharlene wants to move
on with her life. Rita has offered her a full-time
position and she's not sure she wants to work at the
hospital where John is.

Donna arrives and tells Michael that Matthew is in
terrible danger. Matthew is involved with a gun-moll!

Michael thinks she should butt out. Matthew can take
care of himself. It's all her fault, Donna says. If
she hadn't hurt Matthew so badly, he wouldn't have
turned to Blair. All the people she loves have turned
away from her. She's not sleeping well, she says.
Michael gives her a sleeping pill that he got from
the hospital. Donna downs it immediately. Michale
says she should've waited--she'll be too drowsy to
drive. Well, she'll have to stay here, won't she.
Donna has a dream about Matthew kissing her. She
calls his name, and Michael wakes her, telling her
she's dreaming. When he leaves the room, Donna gets up
in a drug induced daze and wanders out the door.

Josie's: Blair tells Josie that she and Gary were
lovers just as Gary breaks in. Blair asks him why he
didn't tell the whole truth, but Gary wants to blow her
away. Josie pleads with him not to. He finally puts
the gun down. After Blair leaves, Josie is not pleased
about Gary's history with Blair. One old lover in jail
(Blair/Jackie) and one dead (Grace). Gary offers Josie
a way out, if she wants it. Josie asks if that's
everything. Gary says it is. Josie is more upset that
he lied (yadda yadda yadda). She doesn't like it that
she's the third cop he's been involved with. She's
calling off the whole thing. Tossing the ring down,
she's outta there.

Michael's: Josie arrives. Sharlene tells Josie that
John is out of the coma. Sharlene says "we never
appreciate the things we have until we're faced with
losing them". They talk about relationships. Sharlene
says it was a mistake to just throw John out. In her
anger she did the wrong thing. Josie thinks about her
fight with Gary.

Dock: Matthew is on the dock, brooding. Blair arrives
and they talk. She tells him of her history with Gary.

He's miffed because of the lies, but she manages to
convince him that she never lied about her feelings for
him. She goes to leave, but he tells her he wants her
to stay. They kiss *yawn*. Soon they are tearing each
other's clothes off and "going horizontal" on the dock.
Later, Blair asks him to go back to her hotel room [to
remove the splinters, no doubt].

Gary is packing his stuff. Josie comes in and takes
his hand. (FREEZE FRAME)
