Hey there!

Happy Bunny-Day! Here's the scoop for Wednesday, March 26! (It's gonna be
a brief one...gotta get to class!!)

WHERE'S KRYSTAL LAKE WHEN YOU NEED HER?!?!
Cass and Felicia run into Carl and Rachel at Carlino's. They toast to
Rachel and Carl's new baby, and Carl and Rachel leave. Cass remarks how
lucky they are and how much in love they are, and Felicia breaks down. They
sit down and Felicia cried about how much she misses John and she's so
lonely without him. She cleans herself up and says how insensitive she
is--after all, Cass can never be with Frankie again. Cass declares himself
the king of lonliness, but he's still there for her. Felicia fantasizes
that she's in Paris in the 1930's, at a rendezvous at a cafe to meet John
("Jean"). Cass rounds the corner as "Jacques", complete with striped shirt,
beret, and moustache. "Jacques" comforts her, as Cass returns to the table
and wakes Felicia up from her fantasy. She tells him she's decided to write
her next novel about Paris in the '30's, and Cass has given her that
inspiration. Cass goes to pay the check, and Felicia waits by the door.
She slips back into fantasy mode, and imagines "Jean" coming around the
corner in a tuxedo, and the two of them reuinting. Just as she comes out of
her dream-world, she sees John from across the street. She shouts out his
name, and John runs over. They embrace and kiss, as Cass walks by, happy
for her.

JOE INSTALLS A REVOLVING DOOR IN HIS OFFICE....
Joe and Gary are waiting for the test results to come back on the rifle
found in Grant's car. Joe is mighty suspicious that the gun just magically
appeared in Grant's possesion. He comes flat out and asks Gary if he
planted the gun to frame Grant. Gary's offended that he would think
that. He looks Joe in the eye and swears he didn't plant the gun. Joe then
asks Gary what's going on with Josie...why would she want a transfer out?
Gary shrugs it off and tells Joe he should ask her.

Josie watches them from outside the office, when Toni comes up and starts
talking to her. Toni tells her she can't wait to get out into the
field...she's sick of being behind a desk. An obviously distracted Josie
tells her that even she spent a few weeks behind a desk when she was a
rookie. But no matter what job capacity you're in, you're always helping
out, and it's for the team. (I think I'm gonna cry....) Gary leaves Joe's
office and Joe asks Josie to come in and talk to him.

Joe asks Josie what's going on and why she'd want to transfer...he mentions
maybe a promotion or a raise? Josie admits that it's personal and it's not
right that her and Gary take the station home with them every night. Joe
mentions a position upstairs acting as a liaison between the force and the
Commissioner. Josie is skeptical...it sounds like a PR job. Gary watches
Joe and Josie outside, but is right in the line of fire of Toni, who bumps
into him, coffee spilling everywhere. Gary makes some comment about Toni
being a rookie, and the two don't get off on the right foot. Josie leaves
Joe's office and Joe asks Gary if he could talk to him. Joe tells him that
he will be working that night staking out Grease Snyder's shop, along with
Toni Burrell. Toni and Gary are just thrilled they'll be working with each
other. (NOte the sarcastic tone there....)

At the stakeout, Gary and Toni argue over whether or not they should listen
to the radio, or why Toni looks at Gary when she talks when she should be
looking at Grease's shop. (A little anal retentive tonight, Gary?) Gary
accuses Toni of being sent by Joe to spy on him, which only angers
Toni--she's nobody's stooge. Toni goes and gets coffee, and the two call a
silent truce as they watch the shop.

Back at the station, Josie tells Joe she's been thinking about it, and she
wants the job as the Commissioner's liaison as soon as possible. Joe tells
her he'll get the paperwork together right away.

I WONDER IF IT'S A CAJUN BIRTHDAY CAKE....
Vicky decides to have a very small party for Bobby's birthday with her, the
boys and Etta Mae. Nick shows up, and she asks him to stay. Steven and
Kirkland immediately get on the phone and call Sofia, asking her to stay at
the party as well, but don't tell her Nick is there. (Gee...you don't think
they get this from their mother, do you?) Michael then shows up, wondering
what's going on. Vicky tells him it's Bobby's birthday. Then Carl and
Rachel show up unexpectedly. Vicky asks them to stay as well, even though
the party isn't all that small anymore. Rachel calls Sofia and has her
bring over dinner for everyone. Carl plays with Kirkland by the cake, while
Steven shows Rachel all his new models. (Airplane models, that is...gotta
watch how I phrase things!)

Back at Bobby's, he's ignored the note from Vicky telling him to come over
to the house. Instead, he's angry and upset over his birthday, and sits
alone, drinking. Daniel calls him and leaves a message on the machine
saying he knows what today is and he came down to Bay City so Bobby wouldn't
be alone. Bobby ignores the message, and continues drinking.

Back at Vicky's house, Michael and Carl discuss how happy they can be as a
family now that Grant can't cause trouble. They pour champagne for
everyone, and Carl toasts Rachel as his beautiful wife...and the mother of
his child. The Hudson's are completely shocked by Carl's announcement, but
they congratulate them and are happy for the new baby. Daniel then shows up
lokoing for Bobby. He sees the decorations, and tells Vicky that Bobby
won't like it at all. Vicky asks why, but Daniel thinks it would be better
if Bobby told her himself. Vicky convinces him to stay for the food, and
she leaves to go find Bobby. Sofia shows up with the food, and her and Nick
have an awkward moment. She drops one of her gloves, which Nick holds onto.

Vicky walks into Bobby's place and sees her letter on the desk. She's upset
he never even opened it. Bobby emerges from the other room. (There's
another room?!?!? Here I am thinking that bedroom is the only room in the
whole place!!) He hugs Vicky, and she tells him that Daniel filled her in.
Bobby freaks--WHAT DID DANIEL TELL HER?!?! Vicky just says that daniel told
her he doesn't like to celebrate his birthday. Bobby is relieved that Vicky
doesn't know the real story. He tells her he doesn't have to explain
anything to her, which, of course, raises Vicky's defensives. She gets mad
at him for shutting her and the boys out. Bobby asks her to leave, and
Vicky rips into him that it's perfectly all right for him to do nice things
for her, but she's not allowed to do nice things for him, and he has no
right to be angry with her when she doesn't even know what she did wrong!
She throws him Kirkland and Steven's present (paper dolls of Bobby and
Vicky, from what I can tell) and storms out. Bobby's furious with himself.

Vicky returns to the house as Michael plays matchmaker and tells Sofia that
he has extra furniture in the barn she can use for the apartment, and Nick
can help her bring it over to the apartment. Vicky tells everyone the party
is a complete bust and Bobby isn't coming. SURPRISE! Bobby sheepishly
walks through the door. A smile lights up on Vicky's face, as Steven and
Kirkland drag him over to the cake. He makes a wish, and blows out the
candles, as he exchanges looks with Vicky while Nick and Sofia exchange
looks from across the table.

HAVEN'T WE FILLED OUR STALKER QUOTA FOR THE YEAR?!
Paulina takes the trash out, but doesn't see that someone is watching her
from the shadows. The stalker sneaks into the kitchen through the back
door. Joe shows up, and Paulina tells him they have a night to themselves
since Amanda and Alli have Dante for the night. Joe admits they don't--he
has to go back to work. He says he'll bring her home. They lock up, and
Paulina ponders why Joe seems so stressed out. As they lock up and leave
the restaurant, the mystery man emerges from the kitchen. (Grease? Neal?
Dr. Forsythe? Who can tell?!?!) First, he takes the batteries out of hte
smoke alarms. Then, he overloads one of the outlets with plugs, and leaves
a rag covering the plugs in order to start an electrical fire. Pleased with
his work, he sneaks out the back door, saying to himself that "That oughtta
do the trick..."

Well, there would be a freeze frame here, but instead we just got a FADE OUT.
(Grrrr.....)

That's it! Talk to ya in two weeks!
