The police precinct is quiet as Gary enters. He finds a plastic rat on
his desk -- underneath a copy of the Herald with the headline "Hero Cop
to
Marry Rat." It seems the law enforcement officers of Bay City don't
like
the fact that Gary went undercover to trap some of "his own." He broke
the code. They're giving him a hard time until Gabe comes in and
defends
him -- there is no room for corrupt officers and anyone who has a
problem
working with Gary can hand over his/her resignation. Josie reassures
him
that he didn't do anything wrong. Gary thanks Gabe for his support.
They
bond. So do Josie and Lorna, in a manner of speaking. Even though
Josie
thinks Lorna's mom is trash, they both think it's important to spy on
their reticent boyfriends. Josie says it's better to know the truth.

Methinks Lorna's going to do some spying.

Joe continues to act like an ass. He tells Sofia that Nick agreed to
dump
her in order to avoid prison. Speaking of police corruption ... Sofia
is
not pleased with her brother or Nick. Nick tells her he still loves
her.

Never fear, Jake has an idea. Nick needs a beard; a girl he can go out
with to make Joe think that he no longer cares for Sofia. Sofia knows
just the right person; her best friend Maggie. Maggie loves the idea.

She'll take Nick to the dinner party the Corys are throwing for her to
show that they still love her even though she's no longer a Cory.

Anthony tells Joe that the meat suppliers are putting out the word that
the Carlinos don't pay their bills. He wants to work overtime; Paulina
wants him to go to the dinner party. They go to a Lamaze class, where
Joe
acts like an ass (surprise, surprise) and collapses from the exertion
of
breathing. Paulina and Maggie bond. Paulina tells Maggie that she
still
loves her even though she's no longer a Cory.

Jake and Matt argue over the headline. It's a draw. Carl encourages
Matt
to keep up the fight, maybe because he doesn't want Jake revealing
Carl's
connection to Blair. Rachel wants to get to know Rafael, because
Rafael
clearly would like to know Maggie. See, Rachel still loves Maggie,
even
though she's no longer a Cory.
