Update for Monday, March 27, 1995. I have fudged a bit on
scene order to keep the detail and shorten the post length.

It was another good day, things are moving right along in Bay
City. One thing: Evan who? (ARGHH *sniffle*) Perhaps he's in

Florida with Amanda.

Hospital Board room: Sharlene and Bailey trade threats. John

arrives, and defends Sharlene. Just before he pops Bailey, the

board members arrive and witness John's anger. Bailey says John

has no control. Sharlene says it is all just blackmail. Bailey
asks John to remove his "overwrought" wife, but John refuses,
and the board members allow her to stay. Bailey brings up
Grant's objection to Morgan's treatment and threatened
lawsuit, Morgan's lack of respect and John's incompetence.

Sharlene gets up and threatens to tell all. John stops her.

Privately, he tells Sharlene that Bailey is trying to force
her hand. Bailey will lose his leverage he says and then
they'll go after him. Sharlene agrees. Bailey goes over all of
Morgan's "crimes" including saving Grant's life. And accuses
Morgan of "aggravating" the Senator. John tells the board he
supports Morgan's treatment.

When Bailey brings in "Mr. Trock" to say that Morgan
performed a tracheotomy on him, Trock says Morgan saved his
life. Morgan behaved as a surgeon when he is not affiliated
with the hospital, Bailey says, and since John supports him,
John is putting the hospital in danger. A vote to suspend
Morgan is passed. Before they can vote on John's position, he
quits. Now he has nothing to lose, he tells Bailey, who
finally realizes he just made a mistake. Once alone, he calls
Lynette for "comfort".

Grant's Apartment: Donna & Matt arrive, surprised to see Vicky
there. She explains about her visitation rights and tells them
about
Lorna probably shooting Grant. Matt is sceptical. Paulina
arrives, snubs Matt, and coos at Kirkland. Matt talks to
Paulina, saying he misses her. She says he must take back all
the nasty things he said about Jake.

Hospital: Lorna shows Ryan the gun. Ryan tells her she can't tell
him the truth because he's under suspension. Talk to Billy.

Lorna is reluctant. She has a choice, he says, and he'll be
there for her if she does decide to talk.

Wallingford's: Frankie and Charlie arrive. Cass tells Frankie that
Felicia is their new house guest because Annie is moving into
Felicia's for the duration. Fiona arrives tomorrow. Cass is
upbeat, but Felicia & Frankie are doubtful. Lorna calls and
tells Felicia that she's going to talk to the police.

Hospital lobby: Felicia arrives to support Lorna. Billy
has the gun and asks Lorna for her statement. Lorna says
she and Grant had a fight that night because Grant was
dumping her. She got so drunk she doesn't remember what
she did. She found a loaded gun in her purse the next
morning with one bullet missing. She is afraid she went
to Grant's house and shot him. Why didn't her name come
up? Grant was trying to protect her, Lorna says. Felicia
looks sceptical, but Lorna defends Grant again. Ryan
tells Lorna she was great for telling the truth. Billy
tells Ryan that this does point in a new direction, and
he's not about to let anyone get railroaded. He tells
Ryan he could have helped if Ryan had been more honest
with him. [WHAT! Billy practically danced for joy on
Vicky's head!]

Grant's Apt: Everyone argues about Jake and his motives.

Matt and Donna leave. Vicky asks Paulina to stop in and

check on Kirkland after Grant gets home. Paulina tells

Vicky not to take advantage of Bridget's position as

Nanny to Kirkland. Just as Vicky is about to leave, Ryan

arrives with the news about Lorna. Vicky is incredulous.
Ryan and Vicky both believe she'll be exonerated.

The Farm: John tells Sharlene that now that he's
resigned, Bailey has no power. Sharlene tells John about
young Lynette and that Bailey is probably molesting her.

We'll stop Bailey together, John says.

Harbour Club: Matt is feeling guilty about his attitude
towards Jake. Paulina is angry at Jake, Donna says,
because he deserted her, and its easier to be angry at
Matt than grieve for Jake. Donna wants to set a date for
the wedding she says. Matt is surprised. How about July,
she asks. Matt agrees. She wants to elope. Matt wants a
big wedding. "I can't wait to be your husband", he says.

When he kisses her cheek, Donna looks VERY odd. [Uh oh]

Pier-side: Bailey meets Lynette and tells her he needs
her to "make him feel better". She is obviously reluctant
and says she has other plans. "What's more important than
our friendship?" he asks [Dirty old man. Jeez--I gotta
go take a bath. Yuck.]

Wallingfords: Morgan arrives and tells Frankie what
happened at the hospital. Cass, Felicia, & Lorna arrive
and tell Morgan that Lorna talked to the police. Once
alone, Morgan tells Lorna he admires her honesty. He hugs
Lorna and tells her it will be all right. Felicia and
Cass are delighted.

Pier-side: Ryan and Vicky are celebrating (sort of) and
then Ryan gets a call saying they've found the bullet.

Vicky is convinced she will be cleared.

The Farm: Lynette arrives for supper. John and Lynette
are introduced, and Lynette does not want John to touch
her. John leaves and Lynette asks Sharlene why she's
being so nice to her. Just then, Frankie arrives.

Lynette remembers Frankie questioning her about Bailey.

She says no one is going to get her to say anything bad
about her friend "Tommy", not even Sharlene. She rushes
out the door. FREEZE FRAME.

Best Line:

Vicky: We know it was fired at point blank range, and
it didn't hit any vital organs..."

Bridget: "More's the pity!"
