Okay, how come I get all the death days? Poor Bridget! Poor JAKE! :,(
I hadda

do Ryan, too. *sniffle*. Sheesh...if Jake keeps up all this weeping,
I am

going to have to order a flat car of Puffs. And I thought Judi Evans
Luciano

was the sob champ... Great stuff between Jake & Donna, Matt & Jake,
Matt &

Donna, too. I Love this SHOW! :,-)

Another sad day in Bay City:

STREET: Outside the police station Sofia tells Joe she is on the way
to the

hospital to be there for Nick while Bridget is ill.

BCGH: Bridget's life support has been turned off. Andy returns
Morgan's

clothes to the locker and Morgan gets dressed. Courtney has seen
"Morgan" in

the room shortly before it happened.
The doctor comes out of Bridget's room and tells Jake, Donna
and Michael

that Bridget is dead. Jake asks Gabe where Vicky is so that she can be
told,

but Gabe refuses, saying she is under police protection. Rita tells
Lorna to

keep things under wraps, because she doesn't want Jake to publish the

plug-puller story in the herald.
Nick says he can't believe she's dead. Jake sits with Bridget.
He

covers her with a sweater and thanks her for taking good care of him.
Don't

worry about Vicky, he'll take good care of her and the boys. He gives
her a

final kiss. Donna comes in and gives him a hug before saying good-bye
to

Bridget.
Lorna asks Gabe again why he won't tell Rita. He won't say.
Joe

arrives and tells Gabe about the robbery at the Cory mansion. Gary and
Josie

arrive, arguing about John & Felicia. Gabe interrupts their fight and
tells

them find Courtney & Morgan.
Courtney finds Morgan and tells him about Bridget. Courtney
tells

Morgan she saw him in Bridget's room just before it happened. Morgan
denies

he was in Bridget's room and is a little angry that Courtney thinks he
did it.

He tells her he was in the shower. She is confused... Gabe
arrives--he's going

to take them both in for questioning.
Rita's son, Chris, (new hot-shot reporter for the Herald) wants
to know

why there are cops all over the hospital. Rita tells him to leave it
alone, but

after she leaves, he questions his nurse.
Matt has arrived, he tells Jake he's sorry about Bridget, and
wants to

know how Donna is taking it. She's wrecked, Jake says, and he is
certain that

something is up--the cops wouldn't let him in the room. He tries to
explain to

Matt what happened, but he starts to cry. Bridget was like a mother to
him and

Vicky, he sobs. Matt says they'll find out what happened, together.
He tries

to comfort Jake, and gives him a hug (oy, who'da thunk we'd ever see
THAT?)
Sofia tries to comfort Nick. He's upset, worried about Vicky &
the

boys, he says. It'll be tough on them. He was getting close to
Bridget, Sofia

says. He talks about Bridget's karate, and how she was teaching him.
Sofia

asks if losing Bridget reminds him of losing his mother. She is
remembering her

own mother's death.
Donna and Michael are standing outside the room. Michael says
he's glad

Nick has Sofia, and Donna says no one should be alone at a time like
this. Matt

arrives. Michael moves away. Matt says he's sorry about Bridget, she
was

special and she'll be missed. He takes Donna in his arms, and she
clings to

him, but he pushes her away after a moment. When he walks away, Donna
realizes

that she is truly alone, and has no one to turn to.

Matt visits Chris. He tells Chris to find out about Bridget,
but Chris

is already on the story. But don't use my by-line and don't tell his
mother

he's working for the herald.

BCPD: Everyone arrives. Courtney tries to say Morgan is innocent.
Josie

questions her, and Courtney realizes that it might have been Andrew in
Morgan's

hooded sweatsuit. Meanwhile, Gabe is questioning Morgan. All four
patients who

died are your patients, he says. Did you ever discuss living wills?
Morgan

says what he discusses with his patients is confidential. Just then,
Courtney

comes in and tells Gabe her theory that Andrew is the plug-puller.
Josie

concurs, saying that Andrew had motive because of Courtney leaving him,
and

Courtney says he was hanging around the hospital, stalking her. Gabe
is

sceptical, but agrees to bring in Andrew for questioning.

WALLINGFORD'S: Cass does not believe that Maggie is his daughter. "A
pathetic

ploy" he says. Cecile says she has proof. Cass explains that it is
impossible

for them to conceive a child together before they'd even met. Cecile
hints that

they were drunk at the time. She'll tell the whole story, she says.

She paints a very romantic picture of Cass and she having a
wild fling

in Monaco, including a several hour stint in a classy hotel. Cass is
still

sceptical. This whopper takes the cake, he says. It's true, Cecile
insists.

Maggie is your daughter. They part company.

BCGH: Cass is looking for Morgan, but he asks Rita about genetic
testing "for a

client". Rita says it isn't necessary for each to get blood tests-- a
single

strand of hair will suffice. He goes off to phone Frankie.
Lorna wants to tell Cass about Morgan, but Rita tells her to
clam up.

MOTEL-HELL: Raphael is angry that Maggie is not "coming across".
Maggie whines

that no one cares about her, everyone walks out, every guy dumps her.
This is

about Nick, Raphael says, but Maggie denies it. This is all Cecile's
fault,

Maggie says, but she's arranged for a little revenge. She tells
Raphael that

she's framed Cecile for taking Rachel's jewels. Raphael is livid.
Once again,

Maggie has bolluxed up his life. The minute we try to sell them, we'll
be

arrested. All the evidence points to Cecile, Maggie says. Jewels in
her purse

and the combination. Raphael says he can't afford to be arrested, he's
taking

her home before they both get busted. He picks her up bodily, but she
tells him

she has a great plan.

CORY MANSE: Well, Carl and Rachel have discovered the theft. Someone
who knew

the combination, Carl says. Joe arrives. No forced entry, new alarm
system,

the jewels were in the safe. Anyone in this house who could have done
it? Joe

asks, just as Cecile comes down stairs.
Instantly, she is put on the hot-seat. Everyone wants to know
what she

is hiding.

Outside, Maggie and Raphael look on.

WALLINGFORD'S: Cass wanders around, closing up. He is thinking about
Cecile's

claim.

BCPD: Gabe listens to Courtney and Morgan from behind a one-way
mirror. Morgan

is denying his guilt, but Courtney is suggesting he call a good
lawyer--and that

means Cass. Gary arrives with a book on death with dignity and
assisted suicide

that was found in Morgan's locker.
Josie and Gary discuss the case. Josie doesn't believe that
Morgan is

the plug-puller. Neither does Gary.
Morgan goes to leave, but Gabe confronts him about the book.
FREEZE FRAME.
