AT CARLINO'S:

John and Felicia have reservations about dining at Carlino's with
Sharlene
and half of their friends there. They join Gabe and Lorna while an
upset
Josie looks on. Gary tells her to leave Felicia and John alone.
Frankie
gets up to leave but Sharlene refuses to go. Josie goes over to
Sharlene's
table just fuming. Sharlene tells her daughter to go back to Gary and
to stop
worrying about her. Gary defends Felicia and tells Josie to stop
speaking
badly of John. He reminds her of the forgiveness John gave her when
she
came back from LA.

Gabe comes over and asks to talk to Gary. Then John's beeper goes off
and
he and Lorna leave for the hospital. This conveniently leaves Josie
and
Felicia alone at their separate tables. Seizing the opportunity, Josie
saunters over to Felicia's table and throws red wine on her. Felicia
tells
Josie that she has no class and to mind her own business. An argument
erupts
between Felicia, Josie and Sharlene. Gary comes over and takes Josie
away.
Sharlene starts chewing out Felicia and asks her how many relationships
she
intends to destroy. Deciding she doesn't have to stand there and take
the

abuse, Felicia leaves. She sees John and Lorna outside and lies about
how
the wine got all over her suit.

Josie yells at Gary for taking her away from her conversation. If he
can't
handle her views and their differences, then maybe they don't have much
of
a future together. Back at Felicia's, her and John share pizza. He
admits

how hard it will be to leave Felicia when he goes to Africa. Felicia
reassures
him that she will be there waiting for him to get back.

YOUNG LOVE...and CECILE:

At the Cory mansion, Rafael is still with Maggie in her room. He asks
her why

she is staying in Bay City where no one cares about her. Rafael plans
to
leave town before Nick spills the story - will Maggie leave with him?
He tells
Maggie that she would be happy with him and encourages her to take some

chances. While Rafael and Maggie kiss, she has a flashback of Nick.
She
backs off and gets upset at Rafael, acting to be too good for him.
Rafael
asks if Maggie equates caring with how much someone spends on her. She
vows
that is not true! Rafael then leaves out the window so that Maggie
won't be
embarrassed if someone spotted him going out the front door.

Downstaits, a man visits Cecile looking for the money she owes him.
Cecile
insists he will get his money. He tells Cecile to work hard because
the
next time she sees him could be the last. A scared Cecile starts
looking

around the mansion for something she can steal. Maggie comes
downstairs but
will not tell her mother where she is going. But Cecile is more
focussed on
getting the wall safe open now that she has found where it is.

Sofia acts like she doesn't care about Valentine's Day when Nick shows
up
at the restaurant. He asks her to open the gift he brought her. It is
a
friendship ring - his ring from high school. Sofia is embarrassed that
she
ripped up the card she had bought for Nick. Maggie goes to Carlino's
looking
for Nick. She walks into the kitchen to find Nick and Sofia kissing.
Maggie
leaves the restaurant and goes back home.

Joe comes into the kitchen and asks Nick why he lied and said that
Vicky
owned the building. Saying that Jake didn't want to upset Joe and
Paulina,

Nick apologizes for not being upfront. After Joe leaves the room,
Sofia
stresses the importance of friendship and trust in a relationship. She
also
asks Nick to help her throw a bachelor's party for Joe.

When Maggie gets back to the Cory mansion, she finds Cecile fingering
through

a family album. Not believing that Cecile wants to learn about her
family
history, she asks if she is trying to find the combination to the safe.
Maggie
tries to talk to Cecile about Nick, but this is a useless attempt.
Cecile
advises her not to waste her time on "trash". An upset Maggie goes
straight
to the safe and opens it (Cecile has headed up to bed). She takes out
a
handful of jewels and puts some in her purse and some in Cecile's.
Maggie
then writes down the combination and stuffs it in Cecile's purse.

JAKE/BRIDGET:

Jake is at Vicky's talking to Bridget. He admits that Vicky has him
wrapped

around her little finger. Bridget laughs as Jake tries to convince her
that
there is no romantic inklings left between he and Vicky. Bridget tells
him
that the love between he and Vicky has always been strong. When they
were
involved before, they were just kids. Now that they have grown up, why
not
let their passion blossom? When Jake asks Bridget if she has been
drinking,
she confides that it was just an idea. All of a sudden, Bridget
develops a

headache and falls over on the couch. Jake rushes her to the hospital.
