Quite a bit happened on the show today, so this might be a little
longer than

usual. Well, here goes:

CORY MANSION:

Rachel confronts Carl about his lies. He explains that his pursuit of
grant

may be seen as an obsession by some, but he considers it natural and

necessary. He points to Rachel's dwelling on Justine as her own
obsession.
She asks him how he could have made love to Justine in their bed.
Felicia

stops by and catches the tail end of that conversation. She tries to

apologize about the other day when Rachel walked in on her and John.
Rachel

asks her to tell her that she didn't see what she thought she saw.
Felicia

tells her that she *is* involved with John. Felicia exaplains that she
cares

about John. Rachel gives her a "been there, done that" speech, and
tells her

what a mistake it is. She wonders what Felicia would have done if
LUCAS took

a mistress. This shakes Felicia up and she tries to convince herself
and

Rachel that this is different. She asks Felicia if Sharlene would have
thrown

John out if it wasn't for her (Felicia)..."probably not", Felicia
quietly

responds. "You can't build a strong relationship on a weak
foundation",

Rachel preaches. Rachel tells her that what she is doing is wrong, and
that

it will bring a lot of pain to a lot of people...and altho she cannot
support

the realtionship, she will still love Felicia. In tears, Felicia turns
around

and leaves. Carl comes back downstairs, stares at Rachel for a moment,
gives

her a kiss, picks up his bags and leaves. Crying, Rachel goes
upstairs.

AT WALLINGFORD'S:

Cass suggests to Frankie that Felicia could come into the store at any
time,

and maybe Sharlene should be here. Overhearing, Sharlene insists that
she is

not ashamed b/c her husband is having an affair. She asks if Cass
would

represent her. Frankie leaves them alone, and Cass asks her about some
legal

issues: like if John is giving her alimony or child support. Sharlene
is

bothered by the "legalness" of a divorce, and brings up issues that are
more

of an emotional nature, like making sure that Felicia can't get near
Greg, or

the way that John and Felicia will look at her at parties, etc. Cass
advises

her that those issues are outside what lawyers deal with in divorce
cases. Cass

asks her if she really wants a divorce. Later, Cass requests that they
talk again
once Sharlene clearly knows what it is that she wants. He reminds her
that

Frankie and himself will always be there for her. She decides to look
for a

book on coping. Felicia comes in and Cass tries to steer her into the
back

room. Seeing Felicia, Sharlene throws some $$ down on the counter and
storms

out, with Frankie in tow. Felicia asks if Cass is still her friend, or
has he

turned on her like everyone else. Cass tells her that she is out of a
shaky

and frail limb, but that he will always be there for her, like she has
always

been there for him. When Frankie returns, Cass tells her that he will
not get

in the middle of another "friends" lawsuit and will recommend a lawyer
if

Sharlene decides to divorce John. Outside the store, Sharlene thumbs
through

the book, and gets so upset thatshe throws the book in the trash.

AT THE HERALD:

Matt screams at Nick for trying to get a story out of Maggie. Over the

service, Blair types in a false headline that "Cobra died overnight".

Meanwhile, Gary suggests that he and Josie eat in b/c he is still
concerned

about Cobra being a threat. Michael stops by the paper looking for
Nick.

Matt reems him out.

AT THE HOSPITAL:

There is a crisis going on: there has been a severe car accident which
Tomas

tells John about being a witness to. There is also another person,
Mrs.

Chapin, who desparately tries to get her son's arm looked at. John and
Rita

argue about not giving Mrs. Chapin's son priority (her husbandis a
large $$

donor to the hospital), and John reminds her that his priority is
critical

patients, not broken arms. Rita asks Tomas what he is doing at the
hospital.

Tomas defends his involvement at the scene as an act of being a good
samaritan, not acting as an EMT. Rita reminds him that he is
suspended.

Later on, Michael comes to the hospital to look for John. he bumps
into Donna

and they can't believe that Vicky would run off and marry grant.
Meanwhile,

Rita asks John if he will be bringing "his mistress" to an upcoming
medical

convention, saying that his activities reflect upon the hospital. John

reminds her that the convention is about medicine. She leaves and
Michael

shows up. John is losing his patience and ends up telling Michael to
get a

life, and to either get back together with Donna or find someone else.

AT CARLINOS:

Joe comes in all worried about his finances, esp. since the restaurant
isn't

drawing a lot of people. Paulina suggests that they dip into their
joint

account. Hearing this, Sophia notes that they won't be able to have a
wedding

if they dip into that $$. Nick comes in with Tomas. Maggie is there
and

reminds Tomas that he didn't see her near the hospital on the evening
that

they kidnapper dropped her off. he tells her that he is through lying.

Rafael walks in and talks to Nick - apparently, Raf is his buddy from

Chicago. Nick introduces him to Maggie, Joe, and Paulina. Nick looks

confused about the strange interaction between Maggie and Raf. Raf
asks Joe

if they have any leads on the kidnapper. Joe hesitates at first, and
only

reveals that the polica don't have any new leads when Maggie presses
for the

info. Maggie says that she might remember something really soon. Raf
takes a

hasty exit. On her way out, maggie and Nick kiss, then outside the

restaurant, Raf reems Maggie out for not acting like she "just met
him".

Seeing the kiss, Sophia is saddened, esp. when Nick tells her that he
misses

hanging out with her. Leaving, Nick sees the tail end of Raf and
Maggie

arguing. Nick catches up with Tomas and asks him if he and Maggie are
getting

close again. he tells Nick that Mags is up to her old tricks, saying
that she

wants him to say that he didn't see her near the hospital on the night
when

the kidnapper dropped her off, even though he KNOWS that she was near
the

hospital.

ENDING:

The show ends at the hospital with Morgan screaming that he will not
let this

critically patient die. Rita is thanked by Mrs. Chapin for the quality
of

care, and insists that she will tell her husband about it. Seeing the
panic,

Rita walks over just as someone screams that they know the
identification of

the critical patient. just then, in a shocked voice Rita says: "It's
my

son...Chris Madison".

That's it!!!
