NICK/SOPHIA

Nick shows up at Carlino's to see Sophia, who is in the middle of a

crisis b/c the chef called in sick. Nick agrees to help her out, and

tells her he dreamed about her last night. He asks her if she stopped
by

Vicky's place, as he got the feeling she was there...but she says she

wasn't. Nick shows her the paper with his name listed as the
"Editorial

Assistant".

CECILE/MAGGIE

Cecile tells Cass that she's leaving Bay City, as she can no longer
stay

in the Cory Mansion, full of memories of Maggie. While Maggie sleeps,

Rafael unties himself and leaves. Cecile goes on about how this whole

mess is her fault...Cass advises her that time will heal. Cecile wants

to return to Europe once everything legally has been wrapped up. Cass

assures her that Maggie's trust fund will provide for her future.
Cecile

feels undeserving of the money. Cecile gets a phone call - it's
Rafael,

who tells her that Maggie is still alive. Cecile asks him not to play

games, and he tells her where Maggie is staying. With Cass out of the

room, Cecile pens a note and sneaks out. After making his call outside
of

Carlino's, Rafael gets questioned by Nick. Rafael expresses his
disbelief

that the "rich girl" wasd killed, and Nick goes on about how disgusting
and

sick the person is to do such a thing, etc. During thier conversation,
Nick

reveals that breaking up with Maggie was the best thing he did.

CASS/FRANKIE

Frankie tells Cass that she overheard Cecile saying that she wished she

told Maggie something before she died. Frankie wants to investigate.

Frankie sees that Cass has an envelope that Cecile left to be opened
only

if sheisn't "back by tomorrow". Cass refuses to open the letter, and

amusingly suggests that Frankie use her ESP to determine what is
inside.

She places her hands on the envelope and jumps, saying that she doesn't

think she wants to know what's inside. (She hasn't had a reaction so

strong since before Charlie was born).

GABE/BCPD

Gabe accuses Tomas of sneaking in and tampering wit evidence in Mrs

Hamilton's room. Gabe informs Tomas that he is their only link to the

plug puller, and insists that Tomas come to the station for
questioning.

Lorna takes Gabe aside and asks if he could take the hospital's

reputation into consideration while conducting the investigation. In
no

uncertain terms, he tells her that he won't let his personal
relationship

compromise the investigation. At the police station, Tomas repeats
that

he didn't see anyone go into Mrs. H's room. John defends Tomas'

reputation but Gabe is having a hard time piecing together all the

events. Dr. Madison brings Shelli, a candystriper, to the police
station

to explain how she knew tha Tomas cheated on his EMT exam. Rita tries
to

convince Gabe that Tomas fits a profile of the culprit, someone who
wants

to be a doctor but has little skill, who creates dramas for attention.

Gabe asks Tomas why he wants to be a doctor - he replies, "to save

lives". Gabe suggests that he get a lawyer.

AT BCGH

Morgan remembers Mrs. H, and asks Courtney if she would like to take a

break from the hospital - Mrs. H would have wanted that. Meanwhile,

Andrew stops by and drops off a wrapped gift box for Courtney. Lorna

goes into the doctors' lounge and vents with Morgan. He tells Lorna to

hang int here with Gabe. Courtney stops by the desk and is given the

gift - a beautiful necklace. Putting it on, she exclaims that Morgan
has

outdone himself, as Andrew watches.

ENDING

The show ends with Maggie walking into the room where Cecile is, takes

off her glasses and hood, and says, "Hello Mother". In disbelief,
Cecile

reaches out her hand to touch Maggie's face, but Maggie slaps it away.
