A Very Revealing Episode!

Sharlene/Josie/ & Michael (surprise - surprise):
Sharlene and Josie are packing up the last few boxes in the kitchen
at the farm while the movers are bringing out the boxes. Josie is very
angry that John isn't there to help her Mom and Sharlene is saying that
that's probably because she threw him out! Still Josie feels it's not
right and sounds very bitter towards men. At this point Sharlene says
"at officer Sinclair", and Josie is touched that her Mom figured it out
and they embrace (that took a crystal ball to figure out for Sharlene
now didn't it!). While this is going on Josie blurts out that "she hates
men" and in walks Michael!

Michael just dropped by to see if he can help, but Sharlene is under the
impression he's there to pick up John's things in the living room so of
course Michael asks why John isn't there and Sharlene says he's gone and
in love with someone else.

Michael thinks it's a fling and John will get over it "you know men hit 4=
0
and something happens" he says (hmmm, I'll leave that one alone). So he j=
ust
goes on and on that it isn't right but she should give him another chance=
 and
what could John possibly have to talk about with a younger woman, etc. Sh=
arlene
blurts out that it's not a younger boring woman, but a sophisticated woma=
n
of John's age and who is very beautiful, finally she tells Michael it's F=
elicia.
He's stumped and of course consoles Sharlene (we can see this one coming =
loud
and clear, Michael and Sharlene - maybe pay back for John and Donna once =
upon
a time).

Josie and Felicia have it out:

While the above is going on, Josie goes to the hospital to get John to go=
 home =

but of course bumps into poor Felicia who is at the hospital to tell Lorn=
a that
she is leaving for Mexico for an undefinate amount of time. A note worth =

mentionning is her brief conversation with Lorna prior to Josie entering =
where
Lorna begs her to fight for what she wants (namely John) and not give up =
so =

easily as she did when she gave up her daughter (Lorna). (It was a brief =

exchange, but it sure got to the point and I think was a very good piece =
of
acting by Lorna.) Anyway, Lorna leaves and tells Felicia to wait a minute=
,
and in walks Josie and tears a strip out of Felicia. She says that Felici=
a =

probably also knows what's wrong with Gary and that he probably told her =
he was =

breaking up with Josie, and she just raves about alot of silliness, it's =
almost =

like because Felicia slept with a married man, she is the devil in person=
 and is =

resposible for every mishap that her family endures. Finally she (Josie) =
is =

about to call Felicia a (??? it never came out but would probably sound l=
ike =

witch or plut). It never came out because John stopped her and Felicia to=
ok off.
John tried to take off after her but Josie held him back and he told her =
to
stay out of this, it was between Sharlene and him (it was a pretty limp
attempt at taking control of the situation, not one of his better moments=
).

Felicia is very upset and storms out of the hospital but on the way out b=
umps
into Gary and he forces her to tell him what's going on and at this point=

she tells him he'll hate her just like Josie and he gets worried about Jo=
sie.
We don't see their conversation all we know is that she told Gary it was =
a
married man, but we don't know if she told Gary who? Gary is very support=
ive. =

When they leave the hospital they embrace and Josie sees them and is fumi=
ng (she =

seemed to be
wondering if now Felicia is going after Gary, just my impression).

Last quick note about Josie:

She told her mother she found an apartment but will need a roomate in ord=
er
to afford it. (Okay, my bet is on her good friend Matt recommending a rea=
lly =

nice new employee of his an apartment - Blair - who's mad as a hatter and=
 after =

Gary who just happens to be Josie's ex-lover!).

Raphael and Maggie:

Not much here, he returns from town and is really mad and throws a newspa=
per
on the floor but doesn't say anything to Maggie and leaves again. The new=
spaper
has a picture of Cecile in Cass' arms and is the Bay City Herald with the=
 =

kidnapping story. Maggie vows to make her Mom pay if she is delaying payi=
ng
the ransom just to get closer to Cass.

Raphael calls Cecile from a phone booth at Carlino's while she is sitting=
 out of
site at Carlino's with Cass. Her cell phone keeps ringing and she is very=
 slow
at answering, finally she doesn't say much but we have the confirmation t=
hat
she had her own daughter kidnapped (well, here witch is just not enough, =
she is
a real **bitch**). Anyway, he tells her to get as much info on what the c=
ops are
up to as possible and is very upset that the press is involved.

Cecile/Cass/the Herald

Cecile and Cass go see Jake and by the time the conversation is over, Jak=
e has
Cecile eating out of his hand, he gets an exclusive on the grieving mothe=
r
and she gets first page with the best photographer. Cass is appalled but =
Cecile
loves the media attention and agrees. In the meantime Joe walks in and as=
ks
Jake and Matt to print that someone saw the drop off of the note and will=

recognize the guy, Jake won't print it because it's not true (yes, you re=
ad
this right!), but Matt agrees if it will help get Maggie back.

Cecile/Cass & the Cops

Ceclie and Cass go see Gabe and she asks what their plan is and he is ver=
y
surprised by all these questions and why isn't she at home by the phone
waiting for the instructions? She brushes him off (and in my personal opi=
nion -
Cass is starting to see the light because sometimes he looks at her like
he is figuring this all out).

Gary & Gabe

We get the whole story, Gary was undercover to find dirty cops and he got=
 very
close to crossing the line himself (no explanation) and slept with (can't=
 make
out the name they gave Blair - Cobra or Cobourgh??). Once he found out th=
at
(I'll call her Blair) officer Blair was dirty, he couldn't call off their=

relationship because the whole operation would blow up in his face so he
kept on sleeping with her and finally gave her up with the other dirty co=
ps
so she's real MADD.

Thomas/Nick (Sophia)

Thomas runs into Nick and says they have to do something about Maggie and=

Nick says no way but then thinks better of it and he and Sophia agree
to go to the old mill where Maggie loved to go and think in case the kidn=
apper
took her from there and there might be clues, but nothing. Along the way =
back
Sophia asks Nick to teach her to drive so she won't be so dependant on Jo=
e.
He says it's a big responsibility and she says she trusts Nick (cute scen=
e,
I'm actually starting to like Nick because of this relationship with this=
 girl).
OOPs, almost forgot, while at Carlino's, Thomas and Nick run into Raphael=
 and
Thomas doesn't seem to recognize him they all chat about what a shame thi=
s whole
kidnapping is.

In the meantime back in the cabin, Maggie is fantasizing that Thomas then=
 Nick =

come to save her but they both have better things to do and walk out laug=
hing =

without helping her and in walks Raphael for real after her fantasy (i.e.=
 he =

will be her rescuer, not the other two).

Lorna goes to see Gabe and gives him his shaving kit, he's amazed how did=
 she do =

it? She convinced the super to let her in to his apt. and she got it for =
him =

along with this, and she takes out a pair of black bikini underwear (no h=
e =

didn't try them on for us so you can start breathing again!). She read th=
e paper =

in the morning and when she saw about Maggie, she knew he would not have =
gone =

home. They play footsie a bit and finally they make dinner plans for late=
r when =

Maggie is found.

Well, hope you enjoyed my update. I will, whenever possible, include the =
best =

line of the show and in this case there is a great one. Cecile storms int=
o
Gabe's office and is really bossy and asks him to give her a complete run=
 down
of his operations and Cass responds "Don't mind her rudeness, it's her ge=
netic =

predisposition" (might not be exact to the word but close)!
